Hi all. I'm putting something in now since I have news. I weighed this morning and I'm down something like 6 or 7 pounds. How? Involuntary fasting and no sleep. I haven't had time to eat. I'm four days behind reading the main thread. My dad had a stroke on Monday, in a different state, and his Medicare Insurance is the squits (AARP can you believe it) I will leave a recap in the Member News thread, but suffice to say I haven't been thinking much about food. I bought M&Ms on the first leg of my trip to go get him two days ago and haven't finished the small package yet. That's unheard of. On Thursday I didn't eat before flying and the first I looked at food thinking maybe I was hungry was 7pm and they gave me an extra patient meal. On Friday I ate a granola bar when we were on the plane after noon and then had half a small hamburger before crashing at 6pm. Today a bit more but like I said it's weird looking at a package of M&Ms and not wanting them. I will be breaking the 8pm rule today but so glad that sounds like a plan for some of you too. Now if I bound back up by Wednesday I'll be disappointed. I hope my body will adjust to the lower weight. Hmmm. Doesn't sound like the best diet. Hope your father is improving!!

I'm down a pound this week, but have been sick, so no gym. Feeling a little better but just don't feel like doing anything. If I take off to the grocery, I better be careful.

Completely forgot yesterday was Wednesday. Anyway I was up a pound but some of that may actually be muscle gain because I walked 3+ miles 3 days in a row and I've been doing 10 squats a day for at least a week. Doesn't sound like much but I'm aiming for small chunks of exercise as trying to do a lot seems to derail me. I added in doing some sit ups as well in the last couple of days. Finding that writing that in my bullet journal list for the day to be checked off is helping to motivate me.

Packing is providing plenty of exercise today. I'm over 10,000 steps and have already done 44 flights of stairs. Fitbit only counts stairs on the way up and I start the day on the second floor so that's 44 trips down as well.

Yay! I remembered that it is Wednesday. I'm down about .6 lb from last week. Finished the day yesterday with 48 flights of stairs but I think it might have missed a few. LOL

Goodness rihannsu, that's a lot of flights. I was stair climbing yesterday too for about three hours, not constantly but pretty much up and down or around during the time. Tuckered me out lol. Well I've stayed the same as last week so my two days of unplanned fasting so far have stayed with me.
Glad you are feeling better stardust. I've got a rib out and need to make a couple of trips to the chiropractor. Some days I feel great and others I think I'm having a heart attack.

We are officially moving. I will not be at all sorry to see the end of these stairs. New place is one floor. Although it is a little further for my drive to work there are other pluses. Not a gated community (pain in the ass as far as I'm concerned), our own mailbox at the end of the drive instead of banks of boxes and the dog park is just around the corner and looks like there is a nice walking trail there too.

I am up almost a pound but with all the craziness of the move I am sure getting plenty of exercise. Must be building some muscle in there somewhere. LOL
