It's A Wrap!
15 days, 4 countries, and 6 concerts later Queen + Adam Lambert ends....For Now. It's been a delightful journey with many great performances, special moments, and for those lucky enough to attend, unforgettable memories.
This is also my "Wrap", Q3 returns tomorrow and will once again be back at the helm steering our ship. It's been an eye-opening experience running the show for an extended period of time and it's given me an even greater appreciation for what she does for us day in and day out.
So, as I get ready to give her back the keys to the kingdom, we, all Atopians, will create this thread to share our special memories of this remarkable concert series. Please feel free to continue posting what is most memorable to you. Cheers!
Lets begin with some thoughts from our members who attended:

You already have my Poland concert recap, so I didn't know what I can add to that but then I remembered that I wasn't alone at that concert. I was there with my sister. She is big Adam fan, but she is not the part of the fandom - not her cup of tea. I asks about her thoughts after concert and this is what she told me -
"You know that feeling when you realize that you witness something special and you know that each passing moment is taking you closer to the end of that special evening. It saddens you and it hurts, and you know that it will leave you with a sense of loss but in the same time you are happy, and breathless, and you want to laugh and love and hug somebody. This kind of mixed feelings is the best thing you can experience. After everything you will be sad but you will be also fulfilled and grateful for this once in a lifetime opportunity. This is how I feel right now."
From my sister with love

ljsmack:
Having been home for all of 18 hrs, my reflection time has been limited, which of course means I'm going to reflect.
Queenbert is about the music. The quality of the musicianship is extraordinary, but if a group doesn't "gel" and the whole is not greater than the sum of it's parts, then extraordinary musicianship can't overcome that. There is a palpable joyful spirit that erupts from the stage to audience and back again. It just swirls and I can see why Adam twirls. And it's not mindless joy, but mindful joy--people sharing what they are born to do and be connecting with people who appreciate it, but realizing life is not always like this, so squeeze the moments for all they are worth.
The pyro and lights punctuate the high points, but do not create them. Queenbert becomes a life force playing together in all senses of playing, that is stronger than costumes, dancers, tricks, etc. And it captures and builds on previous moments to explode exponentially, otherwise how does one explain the interplay of audience and band? Everyone who has ever hand-clapped to Radio Gaga was a part of Queenbert.

Sounds like you guys got an excellent stream thanks to Catz!
Apologies - I have nothing of weight to report beyond what you know - it was greatness.
Truly Adam had his unbelievable vocals fully deployed. I thought he particularly adamized a couple with some fun runs - unless I imagined it - which is fully possible at this point.
At the end I started to think he wasn't going to let WATC end - and I understood why - he sounded glorious and the guys seemed to be feelng top notch as well. But all good things must come to an end to make room for other good things.
I'm glad you got to see Roger grab Adam by the scruff of his neck at the end to shove him out front on the catwalk - clearly a strategy Roger had devised ahead of time. Unfortunately, Adam is slippery and soon scrambled back behind them. Then Brian waving at Adam to get up from his kneeling 'i'm not worthy' position and offering him an elegant hand up like the gentleman he is - awww.
I spent some time explaining some things to the person I sat with who was a new-ish Adam fan. On his other side was a lady who spent a lot of time texting while Adam was singing then kept asking us if we knew how wonderful he was and tried to quiz us on our level of fandom. (I went with the 'no english' shrug and defense.) I am puzzled by this fan species:)
One note: I saw a comment earlier about the seated area and their sitting during Adam. I don't know if this has been mentioned but it was sometimes a bit of an issue - I don't know if people are technically supposed to sit but it is quickly enforced by the theater folks if anyone behind the stander complains. I was lucky the people behind me didn't want to sit - esp last half. Most people do sit most of the time but don't complain about those standing - but it caused some heartburn in a few places and a bit of drama in one spot in particular. (The hateful, sour faced old guy and his female companion who caused this big drama early on really irked me. And that doubly irked me because it distracted me from Adam for a short period. Special hell for causing a dust up while Adam is singing, people! Special. Hell.)
On another front, I was reminded again of why I like Tommy - he is such a good egg.
