Sorry to post and run... Just a quick comment on OOL in an anti-gay environment.... is there anything explicitly stated in the lyrics that indicate it refers specifically to the LGBT community? I mean, I know that's sorta who it's aimed at, but could it just as easily refer to Romeo and Juliet? Inter-racial/inter-religious relationships? Generalised hostility towards certain pairings of that sort? We know what every song is "really" about because we stan Adam and read everything he says. Pretty much every song on the album can be interpreted many ways (even Shady.) He has also said in interviews, that OOL can be about any forbidden relationship. And in 3 concerts on this tour, he has called it about being different and weird and unaccepted in general. So while I fully expect Adam to sing OOl here, I do not think it will be interpreted or be in anyway dangerous or controversial for him, or against their law. I am going to request that everyone who is on Twitter, tweet the link to a good You Tube of OOL in St Petersburg though.

Kind of a random post.... Heard Fall Out Boy's Light Em Up and would love to hear Adam cover this song. Also, lo loved Chunky's tweets.

I like the idea of tweeting OOL from St. P. Everyone can interpret songs as they wish and Adam often has multiple interpretations of his songs -- but relistening to Adam's interview with Lyndsey (posted upthread), to Adam OOL was about his community and about more than marriage/relationships, and is so appropriate for what is going on in Russia right now. ETA: Adam is smart enough to stay out of international politics -- and has really stays out of most US politics, too. There will be no issue.

I will do that when Adam is safely in Finland...Being political is easy when you're home sitting at your computer. What Adam is courageously doing is going into the mouth of the dragon.. I'm not going to help stir up any controversy at this point. Just my opinion for what it's worth.IMH Milonov is looking for scapegoats and looking to further his ambitions.. He can interpret OOL in any way that will help his cause. This is not a NICE MAN! I also don't want to make it hard for concert goers who may be afraid of being at Adam's gig. From what I have read there were about 80 arrests of people at Madonna's concert.I will work like a dog for justice after Adam leaves..

The Russian government allowed Adam to book this concert in St. Petersburg, Russia, knowing full well that he is gay...where is this idea coming from that he's in danger somehow? As for OOL it's clearly about the LGBT community. "They say we'll rot in hell" is almost a direct quote from every bible beater/anti-gay person on the planet. I do think he'll sing the song though and I don't believe he'll have any issues doing so. Madonna is controversial just for the sake of it and I have no doubt that the 80 people arrested weren't arrested for merely being pro-gay rights.

I haven't been able to find many vids of Kiev, are there not many up yet? Seem like we have an abundance of photos. I have put off making the recap waiting on videos.
