I am feeling entitled. I want it all, and I want it now. Yes I am thankful for Queen inviting Adam, but I want him to sing all the songs. I am not going to be PC....I am going to be very entitled. But that's okay. I am old and deserve it!!!!Guess I won't post entitlements anymore. I never meant to imply that you shouldn't post "entitlements". You have your point of view, and I was just responding with mine. I think it's okay if we don't agree.  However, I will say that I find it a bit mystifying when people focus on what Adam doesn't get, instead of what he does. I'm thrilled that he is going to perform for such a large audience (with Queen!) at this high-profile event. Sure, it would be great if Queen + Adam could perform 15 songs together, but that was never an option at this festival. However, it sounds like what we're going to get will likely be pretty spectacular. So I'm happy. YMMV (The only thing pissing me off right now is that I won't be able to see the concert in person. I have bronchitis, so no way can I go to LV. I gave my tix to a friend. Maybe I'm just trying to cheer myself up by focusing on the positive. Thankfully I have good drugs. Heh.) |

I just want to say one very irrational thought about Nate singing -- watch, he'll probs REALLY nail it and that's all radio will be talking about when it comes to their comments on Queen's guests.

I have weird impression that we, as Adam's fans, are trying to "own" Queen like we are trying to "own" Lay Me Down which is not Adam's song a never will be. And IMHO this is not good thing.

Journalism at its finest." MJ specifically stated it was a rumor. Her history of accuracy with Glee rumors is pretty high. Secondly, those tweets are there, and she has left them up. She has done nothing to remove them. MJ has NO reason to lie that someone told her this rumor. It is childish and silly to assume she has some grudge against Adam when historical she has been pretty damned positive in dealing with his news. Itegrity is a two way street. You cannot accuse others of dishonesty, while pointedly ignoring facts just to suit your own personal bias. SMH I actually thought ATOP was better than this grade school gossip mongering foolishness. I guess I was wrong. Continue on, girls. I'm glad that Adam has fans, but I just find this nonsense reeks of a personal agenda rather than honest discourse with adults. Take a deep breath .. and exhale slowly..  . I doubt anybody in here trying to exude their personal agenda. IMO, we only have ONE agenda here in Atop.. It's Adam Agenda!!  I personally didn't put the blame on MJ, she got it from a source. Maybe this source will be very careful to leak something out, now that a publicist of their guest star squash the rumor directly. |

NO ONE can OUTSING ADAM! You got it. I've heard Nate, and altho he'll do fine, he is no Adam. Adam has the fine tuned vocals, range, riffs, phrasing, breath control, transitions... And that is just the singing. He has a real connection with Brian -- the way they look at each when they're performing. |
