I hate to be shallow but there doesn't seem to be any competition in the looks department. Then again, is anyone competition for Adam in the looks department? Not in my eyes. Matt Bomer from the TV show "White Collar".

timehopper @timesmasher 8hFlight snafus abound in Chi due 2 weather, but on my way. Lady next to me noticed my A screen saver. Said "hm, he doesn't look like he (c) timehopper @timesmasher 8h(c) does on The Voice". I literally guffawed & heads turned. Never gets old! timehopper @timesmasher 8hAnyway, long wait, so I entertained her w a walk thru my Adam galleries. She kept saying "He really is a good-looking man!" Mhm, yep. timehopper @timesmasher 8hI'm guessing she was in her late 70's ;-). She wondered if he modeled, too. Love that lady!

Thank you, stardust and Daenerys! A bit of a downer, ain't it? How can this be a downer when we see how much press and praise has come to Adam because of this record? The album is an instant world wide hit! As a co-writer he will benefit monetarily, but whether he is "featured" or not, a few gazillion people know who it is singing. This month is win win win win......win win win... Being featured is always good for an artist chart standing but benefiting monetarily is even better. Getting Adam's name out there is a good thing. If LMD becomes a hit and Avicii wants to work with Adam and Nile again I bet they will be featured on his next album.

As a co-writer he will benefit monetarily, but whether he is "featured" or not, a few gazillion people know who it is singing. This month is win win win win......win win win... Of course it's a win, win .... but just now I learned that it is better to be "featured" than to have a writing credit, so in the best tradition of being greedy I got a bit upset for Adam I am also thinking that according to the story Nile called Adam some time after 10 pm, Adam jumped on this treadmill, and proceeded into the studio. By the next morning they had a recording. So, there was no time to discuss the contract with his management and layers in advance it seems... I guess all this was done AFTER the fact, and so it's interesting to know how much choice Adam had at that point.... ETA: J anusAquarius @janusaquarius Protected account 7m Missed this tweet from Keith Caulfield twitter.com/keith_caulfield/status/380856418166775808 … So I guess if LMD charts high it won't officially do anything for Adam & Nile.Having writing credit is more important because that's $$$$ in Adam's pocket. He just won't have a BB hit song to his name.

One obvious for me cassie, before I even went to watch ADAM's Radio Gaga, Nate sounded like he's gasping for air (out of breath). I'm surprise you mentioned that he has range, to my untrained ear he sounded like forcing himself to hit those higher notes. And he sounded like Marc Martel. So I'm not sure why people comparing him to Adam. I said he has range because he is hitting some C5s in full voice, which is rare for a male singer. But, range isn't everything, or, to me, even the most important thing. It doesn't matter how high one can sing. Does it sound good? Does it feel good? Do you enjoy it? I agree with you that Nate frequently sounds like he is straining and pushing to hit those high notes. There is a lot of tension in his voice, which produces sympathetic tension in my body when I listen to it. I almost never hear a similar tension or strain in Adam's voice. It is one reason his voice FEELS so good when I listen. Many people seem to compare singers based on range primarily. I don't get it. As a Fun. fan, I have to say, there are A LOT of better videos out there of Nate singing. He really does have a great voice. There is a gorgeous acoustic set, including an amazing version of We Are Young with Janelle Monae (if only I could do the link)

Actually, I would call them rock, but I have a very broad view of rock.
