I wonder if they have a "Rock n' Roll Hall Of Fame" like we do here in the states? That would be fun to see! Have you ever been to the Rock Hall in Cleveland? It's awesome. I haven't been in years but it's a really cool museum. There is only one Rock Hall -- for the world -- and if is in Cleveland. It is an excellent museum. Queen has been inducted: rockhall.com/inductees/queen/timeline/2001 Queen is inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at the sixteenth annual induction dinner. Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters are their presenters. They are going to have to update the timeline I think....because it says this. 1995 Queen’s ‘Made in Heaven,’ the last album of original material featuring vocalist Freddie Mercury, is released four years after his death. - See more at: rockhall.com/inductees/queen/timeline/#sthash.y95R4p19.dpufThere are other really great music museums -- two of my favorites are in Memphis, TN - Sun Studios and the Stax Records Museum. Sun Studios is like the appetiser, and the Stax is amazing --- www.staxmuseum.com/ *** The closest to an official Queen Museum is the Queen The Studio Experience which supports and is part of The Mercury Phoenix Trust - Casino Barrière de Montreux Rue du Théâtre 9, 1820 Montreux, Switzerland. www.mercuryphoenixtrust.com/studioexperience/Queen recorded a total of seven albums at Mountain Studios in Montreux, which the band owned between 1979 and 1996, including the final album Made in Heaven. This in on the Queen The Studio Experience homepage. Freddie always got it -- even when his critics did not! I have never been there (it just opened in December 2013) but hope to go someday. Brian wrote extensively about it. www.brianmay.com/queen/queennews/queennewsdec13.html

My recommendation is come from May through mid-November. Unless you like snow!! Cleveland has some of the best museums (Rock Hall and Cleveland Art Museum are my favs), a world class symphony which plays outdoor concerts in the Cuyahoga National Park (30 miles from downtown Cleveland and what I see from my balcony in Akron), and a thriving theater district with 6 renovated classic theaters equipped for Broadway shows with large stages. Cleveland has some not so great parts but the good parts are amazing. But perhaps the best new thing in Cleveland is that the Browns beat the Steelers today. And that is biblical here.

Hello~ So I'm not much of a forum user and I've been lurking around here forever but I finally made an account because of the LiveProud event. Since you guys were talking about NYC here, I thought I'd post here. I'm going to be a block away from the venue because I live here and I do not have tickets but I was thinking of seeing if there will be any spares at the event. Do you guys think it's possible? I figured I have nothing to lose since I'll be there anyway and it'd be super awesome if I could get my hands on one (or two). It just feels like such a waste if I miss the event because when else will he be here? Plus I'm a huge supporter of the liveproud movement and LGBTQ rights/equality. Sorry for my noobish lack of forum skills. I haven't done this in like 10+ years haha Welcome, Jolty. A friend of mine in NY said that a few Glamberts told her to just show up at the venue and they would let her in without a ticket. She asked my advice and I said go for it and she's an hour and 40 minute train ride plus a 20 minute cab ride away. Since you'll be so close, I'd at least try. Adam was in my home town once doing a radio promo show and although I didn't have a ticket, I waited in front of the station. I saw Adam go in and he said he would try to get me and others in but couldn't. So I waited an hour or so for him to come out and when he did, he took a pic with me. I was just so happy to get a glimpse of him, I didn't really mind that I didn't see the show.

Last year there were a few extra tickets available when the event started. Just a thought because you are so close.
