This is a relaxation therapy ... works like magic, very time!
Thanks, I needed that, LadyM. So soothing it makes me melt. And love the silver hair, or whatever we decided to call it. Would need Emo to confirm.

Oh, that brings back memories. There was this really great sub shop in the same block. They were showing Rocky Horror back when I lived there. And a quick web search shows that they are still playing it! Has everyone lived in Cleveland? For anyone not lucky enough to have the pleasure of living in the Cleveland area.... The Rocky Horror Picture Show has been playing for over 25 years at the Cedar Lee Theatre in Cleveland Heights, OH. There is a floorshow, and it has the reputation of being one of the best RHPS events anywhere. It certainly is the best I have ever seen. www.simplyhisservants.com/faq.htmlI was curious about why they are saying only 25 years, because it was showing the entire time I lived in Cleveland Heights from 1979-1984 and that is 30-35 years ago. And I've seen others say they saw it at the Cedar Lee as early as 1975. But from the web site it says 25 years STRAIGHT and that was in 2013. So there must have been a time between 1984 and 1988 that they stopped showing RH - I wonder why.

I found another magazine report that put the opening at the Cedar Lee on Sept. 17, 1987 -- www.cleveland.com/goingout/index.ssf/2008/09/forever_warped_the_rocky_horro.html But it was the 20th anniversary report from 2008 -- so a typo. RHPS is also currently playing in Kent, OH about 25 miles from Cleveland Heights. Maybe it is so popular here because the newspaper that Janet is reading while driving with Brad can be seen as "The Plain Dealer" -- the Cleveland, OH daily paper. **** I lived in Delaware in 1975 when RHPS was released so I have no idea where it played in Cleveland -- my midnight theater was the State Theater in Newark, DE. I also attend one showing of RHPS with cast members and John Waters in Wilmington, DE. That was in another time and place. "Let's do the time warp....."

I traced the history down. First showed at Coventry Theater on corner of Coventry Rd and Euclid Heights Blvd from 1977 - 1988, which is what I remembered. (I lived less than 1 mi away from '79-'84.) Then it moved a few blocks away to the Cedar Lee Theater in 1988. I left Cleveland May 1987.
