Top 10 American Music Awards Moments: Past AMAs' Video Highlights From Miley Cyrus' giant cat to PSY's crazy mash-up with MC Hammer, check out the 10 most memorable AMAs performances ever. Adam Lambert - 'For Your Entertainment' (2009) youtu.be/vywIkXclatoThe "American Idol" runner-up shocked the AMAs crowd with a racy rendition of "For Your Entertainment" in which he sang, "Can you handle what I'm about to do?" Some could not, as Lambert's performance, which included a sloppy kiss with a male guitarist and some choice S&M gear, sparked immediate controversy. The performance still stands as Lambert's most memorable awards show outing, although his career hasn't slowed down at all -- "Trespassing," his sophomore album, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in May 2012. In response to the DMG question and the question about management ---
Most of the best personal management first have very few clients -- some only have one.
They get paid a percentage of the artist's earnings. It varies based on the level of services provided but 15%-20% is typical and 25% is the highest I have ever heard of.
These companies really earn their money -- it is very hard work.

My how the perspective has changed in just five years! Amazing! It has gone from "career ending" to "too sexy for TV" to "oh isn't it quaint that people were upset by a kiss" in 5 years! By the time we hit the 10 year anniversary, parents will be stumped when their kids ask why was anyone upset by that performance?

Maybe we should thank all the 'Booty' and 'Blurred Lines' clone vids for desensitizing people to much of anything anymore. I like that Adam's performance is referred to as 'one of the most memorable' vs. gay, gay, gay and disgusting. Personally, I still can't watch that performance as my gut seizes up. I thought he'd thrown his budding career away that night and then..voila..WWFM on Leno. Adam is truly a Phoenix Rising. JMO but I feel he'll soar this third time out. He is positioned himself by seizing opportunities that have come his way but also by being selective as to what he has chosen to say 'yes' to. Conscious of his 'brand'. How he wants to be perceived by the public but not pandering to anyone. What I appreciate about Adam is that he is constantly learning, like a sponge. Experimenting, gauging, strategizing, using social media to his benefit, choosing a strong team to back this new album and all the many gigs that has kept Adam in the public eye, when he could have easily disappeared after TP. And now he is more often referred to as an A-lister and for his vocal and performance prowess. Adam's learning curve has me in constant awe. I look back on some of the old vids that are posted here and Adam has seen quite the metamorphosis in the last 5 years. I find Adam captivating in his unquenchable desire to grow. No wonder he has inspired others in their own lives to reach out and touch the stars.

Terra included both Adam parts into one video Ah, thanks for posting this, Tinafea!! And kudos again to TERRA!!!
Do we know if there will be a couple of versions of this video distributed? I see some new faces in this version, I do believe. Showing Adam twice would work for me.. 'Brotherhood' of man' is very appealing to me as at the end of the phrase, he makes eye contact for that last second. BAM! Both phrases he sings are emotive and powerful. I'd love to see Adam's full version of this recording leak, yes I would. A whole 'Imagine' by Adam. Can you imagine that??? *bringonthekleenex*
