TALCvids @talcvids 2h2 hours ago : D RT @glamlawyer: Just a few seats left for Queen + Adam Lambert in Frankfurt. Stands sold out.
TV Program has not even been broadcast in Germany and the preview press was enough to sell out a lot of the upper level seats. Looks to me the Helene Fischer Show was a brilliant choice for promo.

Big thanks to Adamrocks for finding the 'wood splitting' Adam pic I asked for. My memory must be shot, cause he looks pretty hot here.. Still think Adam's forte is stacking new clothes at the register.. Thanks, Adamrocks for sleuthing this pic for me! Convo from last night...OT but we have such great ninjas here. I had logged off, so I saw the photo today.

a beautiful favorite song given a new aura by Lang. i suspect if Adam sang this i would never recover. I've never recovered from KD Lang's version here..it is stunning! Thanks for this, Grandduchess!

Though I've already posted one great non-Adam artist video, I hope no one will mind if I add a couple of videos that prove that (a) Freddie and Adam aren't the only Queen members who can slay a song and (b) our dear Dr. Bri can be a badass when he wants to be.
My favorite Brian May vocal performance, followed by -- well, let's just say it's awesome.

This artist was recommended to me by our dear Lilly..if you want some blues, Beth Hart is fabulous here. Molten guitarist on this vid too. Beth Hart also does a wicked WWL..if you you tube her, you might be shocked. She was in a heavy drug phase and looks totally different. Her voice in that vid is very Joplinesque and she is unbelievable in her take on that song. Great to see her in good health and her voice now is velvety. This vid was done in 2014. The WWL was done in 2004 and what a contrast. Oh heck, I'll post it so y'all can hear her WWL. Two sides to the coin, so to speak. Sorry, over-vidding. All remind me of Adam in that he has a penchant for both blues and improv. And his WWL is not so shabby either..

thanks you Q3...just went down The Guess Who and Burton Cummings rabbit hole! I'm supposed to be cleaning my bathrooms!
Before Adam, I've always maintained that Burton Cummings was my favourite vocalist. His voice is the most flexible I've ever heard. From rock belting to lyrical and everything inbetween. He's a horrible showman. Without his keyboard the man is lost...but his voice!! Been a long long time since The Guess Who, but I still love listening to him sing.
I can't pick one video but I I got a kick out of this 1968 video of THE GUESS WHO singing These Eyes...Burton was 21 years old.
He still tours as a solo artist and his voice is still damn fine...

Ladies of the Canyon, Blue, Court and Spark.....the only things I play in the car. That's where I can sing at full voice and not bother anyone.....and some of her notes are ear shattering, even from her.....

I consider Joni Mitchell to be one of the consummate songwriters and artist of our time. Did you ever see the most recent interview with her, SophieB?
