First Taxi Cab confession: 7/3/13 - one week later public announcement that Adam left RCA. In the week starting with 7/3/13, we had major drama. There was the Shirley Halperin article containing the news about RCA's position towards Adam's future music, supposedly a rumor. I remember tons of drama. While I cannot nail those confessions (to Shirley) down to 7/3/13, it was a week, where Shosh flew to LA, and eventually everything unraveled. Now, that clearly things are moving along with WB, we are getting that same tweet? Nope, not coincidence. My interpretation is, PR regarding Adam's new label has been set into motion. Something has been communicated to the press or at least some press, and we will hear more pretty soon. The 'This is It' - tweet, means a) that the GO button has been pushed and if (and that's a big IF) it also means that Katy is somehow involved (other than by common artist management), then whatever is happening is more than just an announcement of label for Adam. Katy is not with WB, and she has started an own label, so I am sure not able to pull that one together at all. Maybe it has nothing to do with Katy, and just means literally: 'This is It'. I think you are on the right track here. The "GO" button is being readied for the push, just don't know when the announcements will begin. Not this week or next, too much holiday stuff in the news. Put me down for Katy is not involved. I think the date of the photo is what matters -- it was taken on the release date of FYE single. I think it is Adam way to say the new era is beginning. And I think they will use the time from NYE until the start of the Q+AL Tour for Adam to do some promo work. That leads me to believe we will get a January single. I have nothing but guesses but that is my guess.

I do not think that they are releasing anything in 2014 -- just that maybe they will announce something. Adam randomly Tweets for his TBT (Throw Back Thursday) a photo of Adam and Katy Perry taken on the red carpet or the premiere of the film "This Is It" that was taken on October 27, 2009 -- the same day he released the first single from his debut album -- and I am the only one who thinks that is a hint that we are going to hear something about his next single? Seriously? I don't even think that is mashed potatoes. That is just connecting the dots. Maybe they will just be making a formal announcement about the record label. And also maybe announce a 2015 release date for a single and/or album. Yes, I think that is about right -- the signing, single release date and maybe the album release date. Makes sense to me they would announce this before NYE and maybe even before Christmas. They are never going to have a better moment than now-ish.

Is that the first time Adam has referenced "Mr. Deacon?" I think so....as far as I can remember. At first I thought hmmm when he said "bass player" at first and was glad he followed up with "Mr. Deacon".

I am almost positive that Adam is really excited about A3 which he started working on January-February 2014 and finished in early November 2014 -- so really not that long ago. Since the album was not done until last month, the label wasn't really sitting on it. In fact, it seems they wanted it to be released in 2014. I am just happy that small things are happening now like him being on the WBR Twitter Artists list, and WBR following Adam. Hopefully we will get a press release and info soon -- maybe first of the year to leverage the BBC concert press? I think Q+AL is spectacular for Adam -- he has the money to do what he wants, and the UK-Europe tour is so well timed for a March-May, 2015 Adam solo album release. Things seems lined up really well for him. I don't remember if this has been discussed, but does anyone else get a cut of the money Adam makes with Queen besides the government for taxes? DMG, Adam's management team gets a percentage, and he has other professional expenses -- lawyers and so on.

Just to clarify --- I think the dates are meaningful. > 7/3/13 Taxicab Confessions -- the end of the RCA Era -- the week of the public announcement Adam left RCA. > 10/27/09 The date of the Adam-Katy photo (premiere of This Is It) was the release date of FYE single the start of the RCA releases. >> I just think the dates are what matters and that Adam is saying it is the start of the new era. These two images and dates do not seem random to me. NOTE: I did not believe they are releasing and promoting a new single in late December.
