CARNIVAL OF MIRRORS
Theme for 2015 Burning Man.
I am counting the days until the Burn - the 2015 Festival.
There aren't words that begin to color, frame, experience, life on the Black Rock Playa.
Two years ago, I just enveloped the presence of Grandduchess, LindaG23, nonotme, and a friend from Israel. Golly, I can't remember her name. She lost happiness there. It may happen. You confront you.
Any of you - all of you - find a way to the indescribable. Please come. Please begin again. Please begin anew.
I'll be there for all. I'm no princess or clean woman. I'm someone you'll encounter on the pathway to your heart. Your raw self; being. Or maybe not.
Just know, in the dark of night and the shadowless starlight you will see and encounter yourself and understand the possibilities and the end. It will fit into you. And be okay.
Or maybe you'll camp with friends and the experience will be straightforward. That fits.
We are who we are. I found home on the Playa. I encourage you to find it, too.
- Just reread my post. Sounds so eeeeeeeee! It's not. BMan is not. That's the amazing thing. It's not surreal or scary or amazing. It's very straightforward, really. It's just a place to find you. Feel you. Maybe.
Last summer, our camp was next to a group of astrophysicists from the UK. One of them was present when Brian May presented his doctoral thesis at the Imperial College. "The place was packed, and he brought his guitar!" These amazing scientists created a swing. A simple swing. I soared to the stars, every night, on their creation. They employed the theory of perpetual motion in this swing. Once I hit my zenith, I could soar endlessly toward the sky without losing momentum. This creation was a little miracle, at the 'corner' of 9 & D . . .
I encourage you to swing with me.
