Thought thus was interesting Adam Lamberts Google Search Trends Graph since 09. This graph is very interesting. The peak from the NYE concert in the UK is almost as large as the 2009 Idol peak. The average viewership for Idol in 2009 was around 20 million while the NYE viewership was 5-6 million first 45 minutes and 10 million last 15 minutes. Seems like the NYE concert had an even bigger effect. But then more people are likely online now than in 2009. But, this is SO BIG!!! And if Shosh says we ain't seen nothing yet, I wonder just what else is in store that can top this??? Well, I had a dream last night that to introduce A3, they had a 2 hour Adam Lambert music special on a major TV channel in the US. And they invited all of his friends in the music business, Nile Rogers, Pharell, Katie, etc., and of course Queen. They all sang songs with Adam and Adam had a few solo numbers too. What else could be bigger?

I love this video version of Love Kills. It shows all three and you can really see Brian's expression especially when he anticipates what's coming. www.youtube.com/watch?v=bL-El6wNdIg

What else could be bigger? Bear in mind too 2009 was the peak of several weeks. This was just one performance. I think your idea could happen. I know when big acts have an album coming out. IHR have an album listining party. So maybe a 2 hr special to launch Adams new album. Can't think of a better way to introduce it then on a major US Chanel. Now look at that graph around 2012, hardly a spurt. Compare it to now, that is a huge difference. Adam is prime to strike while the iron is hot. Almost like he is back to where he was in 09, visibility wise. Now I know some may say that all of this exposure great as it is, doesen't come close to 09 idol. But this is soley based on Google Stats and Trends.

Thank you, SophieB for your lovely long response! So, you randomly caught a glimpse of Adam on a night when you were too sick to go to bridge! Love it! If you hadn't been sick that night, I'm thinking you might have been like your local butcher! Now I'm wondering if all the rest of our UK peeps discovered Adam the same way you did! Yep - I look at my butcher and thank Goodness for a cold and Adam....

If you hadn't been sick that night, I'm thinking you might have been like your local butcher! Now I'm wondering if all the rest of our UK peeps discovered Adam the same way you did! I'd seen AI a few times, during the Carrie/Bo Bice season (I wanted Bo to win and never understood the whole Carrie/Country thing!). A few years later, I was randomly flicking channels and realised AI was still running...............and I saw Adam's audition! He was so different and in a different league to the run of the mill reality contestants. I watched the whole season and was once again dumbfounded by the vote. I was naive at the time to the whole WGWG/southern Christian thing that has been spoken about so often since then so I was all 'America what were you thinking!!!!!'. I followed the season at MJs but was never a poster there and it was an eye opener to put it mildly. I followed the whole of the AI tour via underwater cellcasts & videos (boy, we've come a long way since then). The AMAs made me love him that much more. I didn't understand the outrage and was massively impressed by the way he handled the backlash. I found the original PF (via hints at MJs) and have been here in all its various incarnations ever since. Hardly anyone in my social/work circles had heard of him and I've never tried to proselytize. I haven't seen colleagues since New Year so it will be interesting to see if there are any comments now! I went to one GNT show, 2 Hammersmith and now I'll see him again later this month. It's been a fascinating and sometimes frustrating journey and I know I'll follow him forever. I enjoy the whole QAL collaboration but I'm desperate now for new music - let it be SOON!

Here is my entry for Adam's best live performance, only one of many however. When he walked down those stairs with an Elvis sneer on his face, I lost it. Never found it since. :-) www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjqmNOxsvCc

Don't know how to post videos-but just wanted to say that the first time Adam performed UNDERNEATH live, {I think it was somewhere in Asia,} was THE performance that made me feel so connected to him -and for all those disenfranchised souls out there. I just wanted to hug him and thank him for baring his essence to all of us.It is a video pressed in my mind forever.
And yes, I can't tell you how many times I watched that Wilkes-barre, Pa performance of Trespassing/Kickin' In. Sexiest dancing he's ever done!!! There really are too many performances that are so incredible that it's hard to make a playlist, when it comes to Adam. Each time he sings, I feel like I'm hearing him for the first time---such a deep, secret joy comes over me. Do you know what I mean?
Long past my bedtime here in Southern CA-so sweet dreams, all.....
