Well, this map is slightly off though......... The North West U.S. is having a warmer than usual winter. So the 'JFC it's cold out' doesn't really apply. I am in South Western Canada, on the coast. Daffodils are in full bloom with tulips not far behind. Lawns are thick, green and begging to be mowed. We will pay for it his summer though, as we depend on snow pack melt for our water into the summer months. Thing is, there has been no snow. None. Many ski resorts are closed for the season. On the plus side...... the kayaks are coming out today and dinner will be on the BBQ tonight.

I really don't know why ,but I can't wait for Adam to come back home.. it just seems he has been away more than in Cali. Why this matters to me ,I have no idea. In fact I love the times I can get to see Adam on my computer much better from overseas... I just have this feeling of unease when he's traveling, kind of like I do with my family when they travel or are away from home.. Hmm I think I just answered my own question. When he got sick ,I was yup... I knew it now he's not well. To me, Adam is family and I feel more comfortable when he's in the U.S... OK then... I have to add though, that this "marriage made in heaven" with Adam and Queen has been one of the most remarkable concert tours ever.. Exquisite and marvelous in all ways...so I guess a little angst on my part is worth Adam's world wide success... What's a mother to do...LOL Ha! I feel the same way to some extent. I pass his street every day on my way to work!

Maybe it's because the news organizations are in the east that people have the impression that everyone in the country is in a deep freeze. I live in Utah, and we are on track to have the warmest February on record in this state. We had a few days of snow between Christmas and New Year's, and none since. Temperatures have been ten to twenty degrees above average virtually every day. We're finally getting some cooler temperatures (highs in the 40s) this week with a possibility of snow showers, but overall it's been a remarkably mild winter for us--which is fine with me. I know we need the snow pack in the mountains to provide water, but I sure love being able to go outside without freezing or stumbling over snow drifts or slipping on the ice!

And speaking of snow...
(suggest turning down the sound, the elephant is annoyingly loud at beginning and end)
Adam related, hmmmmm, these little red pandas are almost as bendy as Adam? Things I would like to hug? Things that make my heart happy?
