Where in American Idol's season will we be when Adam's single is released? Wouldn't an appearance on AI be a natural fit? I just want to see AFL on my TV...anywhere, anytime! Fallon would probably want to duet BoRap with Adam. I like Ellen just fine, too. My 86 year old Mom never misses her show, even in reruns...would always call to tell me when Adam was going to be on Ellen...like I didn't already know! Too sweet & cute. When the time is right, I think we will see Adam in a few strategic TV appearances and then perform. Of everything on your list, Ellen is the one I most want to see. Idol -- my guess is he is on one of the last 3 shows -- Top 4, Top 3 or Finale depending on his schedule. Most of all, although not likely, I would LOVE to see him on The Voice, SNL and with a cameo on Empire. I am gonna dream!!!

Which concert was it that they didn't do SSC ...anyone remember? ETA: I think it was when Brian was so sick but I don't remember which concert. It's nice when you ask a question on ATop and someone answers within seconds/minutes. Here are some links I have bookmarked in a QAL folder: QAL Song Spreadsheet: bit.ly/18q8qJTQAL Videos by Venues Doc: bit.ly/18qaFgnQAL Revenue Spreadsheet: bit.ly/1ETuPt4QAL 2015 Streams Doc: bit.ly/1FZdhQ0QAL terra Wiki: bit.ly/1FZfKK6QAL Devenlane 2014 Media: bit.ly/18cpJ04 2015: bit.ly/1E0CkBt------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And my heartfrumps YT channel: bit.ly/1Gd1ygR

I certainly have no ninja skills when it comes to Adam's movement....BUT I can add/corroborate some of the Queen content! My replies in red: Queen-world, on the other hand, is much easier to get info from. Partly because there are some many people involved. Hot Queen + Adam Lambert rumors -- there are dozens! Here are my favorite RUMORS -- the bolded ones are the ones where I have direct info from someone in a position to know. The regular font ones are second-hand info. ..... We have very different source and they seem to line up. It is interesting. On Adam, no one can find out what is going on. No one. All we are learning is what they want us to know. {stamps feet, and pouts!} Thankfully, soon will be here in about 30 days! ** On the off chance that Brian stands for Parliament and wins -- oddsmakers had him at 25 to 1 -- and that is from Feb 4th because we can't access the odds from the US. Then touring is probably out. ** You are so right about hype from Queen-world, particularly Brian who tends to be excited about everything, and what to do everything, and who never rules anything out.

Adam really looks like a megastar in that pic. Like a mix between George Michael, Freddie, MJ, Elvis. Evolved alot since idol. And I agree Kimmell would be top of my list. Maybe hottest talk show in the states right now. SNL would be the top one though.

Indeed! I hope Brian does NOT go for Parliament. Besides the selfish I'd rather hear him making music...I also think he doesn't quite know what he's in for and I think being in Parliament is the kind of the thing that will make him far more cynical and honestly break him a bit. He'll be knocking his head against the wall and trying desperately to do what he thinks is right and not be able to quite do so. And Queen's machine is a bit like Adam fans where the latest bit or product is "the best one yet!"

Funny, but I disagree with both you and the author of this article. I think Q+PR and the failure of this and many other collaborations to come close to the height of Queen's live greatness helped the legacy of Freddie and Queen. Not just Paul, but Robbie Williams, Elton, Jessie J. etc. also fail to capture the spirit of this music and a Live Queen concert. (I think George Michael came the closest but based on the video there was no magic there.) I think that Q+AL is different than Queen -- in many ways. For starters, there was no new music in Q+AL -- it was a greatest hits concert. But these shows do remind me of the spirit of the Queen concerts from 1977-1981 which I consider the peak of Queen live. Yes, there was that one moment when they returned to greatness in 1986 but from 1982 - 1985 was not the best of Queen. Hot Space electro disco urgh!, and then no one on stage looked like they were having fun for The Works and the Magic tours. For me, one of the best things about Q+AL was how much fun everyone on stage was having, how happy they were to be there, and to see Brian and Roger so happy was a joy. ** I have a lot of respect for Paul Rodgers. Yes, that Q+PR thing did not seem to work. And post Q+AL, Q+PR looks a bit drabber and ill begotten. But Paul is a great blues-rock singer and I think this rating is too harsh (except for that album which is awful). ** I think Adam is the perfect fit for Queen's music -- partly because he is a nice person who is willing to show his appreciation for the opportunity to be on stage with Queen, partly because he can sing this music gloriously and mostly because he is so different from Freddie that he transforms the music into something new and incomparable and current. Finally, I think it must be so amazing for Brian to hear some of the songs he wrote that Freddie struggled with -- and Freddie himself said that some of the songs Brian brought him made his vocal chords bleed because they were so hard to sing -- be sung by Adam. It was like they were written for Adam to sing -- WWTLF, Save Me, TSMGO, Dragon Attack, IWIA. I would really like to hear Adam sing "Too Much Love Will Kill You", "White Queen (As It Began)" and "The Prophet's Song". There are also three other Queen songs that feel like they were written for Adam: STL, CLTCL and DSMN. (There were also perfect Freddie songs.) And someday, maybe I can hear Adam sing "Nevermore" and "You Take My Breath Away". But are Freddie compositions and closely associated with him but I think these songs should be sung, and sung often, and sung well. Lovely post as usual, Q3. I personally don't think that the rating is too harsh (except the part which I mentioned) because the rating is mostly based on recorded music. TCR was a failire in terms of record sales and quality of music. It was just one album, so the "quantity" score deserves to be low as well. Paul didn't stick around for long, so it's fair that the "staying power" rating is low. The "concert tickets" rating (8/10) is completely fair - the tour was a commercial success pretty much everywhere but the US. I agree with your point about QAL being so good because of the infectious joy present on stage at all times. You can tell that everyone involved is doing it because they want to. There's nothing to promote, no album to sell, it's just a tour put on by a bunch of people who love to perform. And hey, as much as everyone rags on Hot Space, I can't even knock the "Hot Sapce electro disco" era entirely because I may or may not be obsessed with Cool Cat. I wholeheartedly agree with the bottom part of your post. I'm not going to respond to each and every paragraph becasue I would just be repeating what you've already said, but I have to add a whole bunch of songs to my list of Queen songs I'd love to hear Adam sing: It's Late, Father to Son, Flick of the Wrist/Lily of the Valley, Don't Try So Hard, All God's People, Get Down Make Love, Teo Torriate....umm you know what, I might as well just the entire catalog here. Yes to all the songs you've already mentioned. And of course...*glances at username*....but it's not like that'll ever happen.

Yes, Q3!! I can't tell you how many times I have thought of this. The looks on Brian's face kind of says it all. I swear, after Save Me, he thanks Adam every single time!
