Wonder if the "OUT" poll is finally closed. Any time today that I try to check on it, I get a page with the results. If so, Adam won, Clay second, Chris third and Weir fourth.

That would be the gold necklace! ** Seriously, anything shipped back for him would be insured -- so that backpack could really just be his travel essentials and anything that is irreplaceable.Yeah....like his grandfather's ring. Can I just say I really love his Julius Caesar ring!

10 OF 12
ANNA & ADAM
Kendrick and Lambert actually became friends as teenagers, before hitting it big. In a 2010 interview with Ryan Seacrest, Kendrick recalled seeing her pal at a party the year before. "He told me, 'You can't tell anybody but I tried out for American Idol and I got through Hollywood Week,'" she said. "I was like, 'Okay! You can't tell anybody but I just booked this movie [Up in the Air] with George Clooney!'" A year after that, they met up and "were like, you know, it's been quite a year for both of us," the actress said.

It generated online mentions for both Adam and Sauli. So reach was far beyond Finland. And, it also was picked up by Queen fans because of Brian and Roger. Roger fans (and there are a lot of them) appear to be all over that glass and debating what is in it. Yes, internet reaches over the national borders (however, the language barrier is high in this case) but I was talking about the situation in Finland. That affects to what gets picked up for an article. The media follows Sauli in social media - not Adam. And when I mention Adam to someone, they ask 'it's that gay guy who dates/d Sauli, isn't it?'. Sauli is the connection even though Adam's music is still played on the radio (and not only WWFM). Yes, it's reasonable that press in the home country Finland are interested in Sauli news and it's nice that news isn't all due to his friendship/connection with Adam. The pic with Roger and Brian certainly seemed to be the focus and Adam was mentioned almost as an afterthought. Guess you're helping us with keeping things in perspective. Surely we do need all the support from the Queen, Sauli and world wide markets to make A3 the success it deserves to be.

PR for Sauli, well yes - but it's also the only mention of QAL in Finnish tabloids. So if you think about it, it's actually a PR opportunity for Adam. The headlines are about Sauli and that connection is the one that gets the tour mentioned at all. The earlier posted 'Iltalehti' article even had more text on QAL than about Sauli despite the headline, and both had QAL pics. Also their Amsterdam pics made the news and had a small tour mention. Those wouldn't have happened without Sauli. We are a small market, I know, but in view of TOH coming up I think every Adam mention is worth of gold in reminding people who he is. It's easier to get the single and album news to sink in that way. And there has been almost nothing solely on Adam for years, only Halloween wolf pic comes to mind. Sauli is doing just fine with his own star power here and has weekly hosting gigs booked well into the beginning of May - but certainly no harm in getting the afore mentioned headline, of course. Helsinki always struck me as a major omission from the QAL tour. Especially with Adam having sold out Hartwall Arena on his own just a few years ago. I was surprised that there wasn't a date in Helsinki or at least in Stockholm in the tour schedule. But then again neither was Spain/Portugal included which made me think they wanted to concentrate on Central Europe with short distances. Another thing I just read is that the Russia/Ukraine situation is causing problems here. Finland is logistically so far from the main continent that it came an attractive spot only after Russia gained more interest in the 90's as we are 'on the way'. Now it's back as it was, very few big tours are coming and promoters are struggling. Even if the acts were willing to come (many are not), it's very expensive to pay for all the transport (takes time too).

Which concert was it that they didn't do SSC ...anyone remember?
ETA: I think it was when Brian was so sick but I don't remember which concert.
