Gotta love JAX! JAX @jax 20m20 minutes ago @adamlambert thank you for being my number 3 "yes" and my number 1 idol. You've been a huge inspiration in my life and idol journey ✖️ In interviews with The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard, the finalists reveal which previous Idols they had crushes on, their favorite Beatles song (“Rocky Raccoon,” anyone?) and their earliest musical memories. Jax, 18 East Brunswick, N.J. Favorite Alums: Katharine McPhee, Ace Young Formative listening: Pink Floyd, the Beatles Jax says her family had great musical tastes. "We'd listen to CDs on car rides. 'Rocky Raccoon' was my jam. My pre-school teacher didn’t believe me when I said I listened to the Beatles until I sang 'With a Little Help from My Friends.'" Jax knew from an early age where she belonged. "I was on stage before I could read. And I’ve always loved to write, whether it's music or general writing." As a child she won her dream role, playing Annie in the stage musical. "Reading scripts taught me how to memorize, which helps with learning songs for Idol." Watching American Idol was a "family thing" for Jax. "I had an Ace Young poster hanging in my closet. He was my first boy crush. I was obsessed with him. One day my parents surprised me. A limo came to our house and took us to the season five summer tour." Jax, who auditioned in Brooklyn with "I Want to Hold Your Hand," says she always wanted to audition for Idol while she was growing up. She asked herself two questions: "Could I get up on that stage in front of the whole world? Could I pull off what Katharine McPhee pulled off?" As a fan of Janis Joplin, Stevie Nicks and Joan Jett, Jax says she believes in "woman power," and that one of her goals is, "to inspire young women."

Still waiting for a really decent coffee table book with lots of pics. I would love to have something like this. ------- Not expecting too much from that paperback Neil Daniels book. Just scroll down and read the critiques under the one he did on Journey and you get an idea what we can expect. www.amazon.com/Dont-Stop-Believin-Untold-Journey/dp/1849386579/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1425408488&sr=8-11&keywords=book+by+Neil+DanielsI'll probably buy 1 anyhow, because we will never get a decent book about Adam, if there is not a sign of interest in at least a cheap paperback, I suppose. But surely will not gift this one, because it probably is kind of embarrassing (language wise and content wise). If it is not too much wrong information, I can always donate it to the library afterwards. ------ I think though, that we can ignore that old 2009 book, and its utterly ridiculous price of 537 USD. Whatever got lost in translation there, the price may be one of them. So, we know what we should be looking at look up '"40 Years of Queen" Forewords by Brian May and Roger Taylor . An Authorized, Lavishly Illustrated History of Queen..... or "Queen" The Ultimate Illustrated History of the Crown Kings of Rock, by Phil Sutcliffe. These two are major coffee table books, one with pullouts, copies of tickets....etc. Hope one day, we'll get this same quality book about Adam. Something to shoot for. By the way one was $40.00. Oh, I do have '40 Years of Queen' ....great picture book with about 2 pages for each of the albums and each of the other major concerts and events and lots of inlets and other additional material. Well done. Yes, something like this for Adam would be great. And given his incredibly good looks, a piece of cake to find good pictures. I'd gladly help searching, lol. ------ Talking about good pictures...Gotta laugh at everyone giving Seth so much credit. How about giving Adam a bit too, he is the one who put the sweat equity into this achievement, isn't he? He should be proud. Damn hard work, if you ask me. I know how much energy it costs me to get my lazy butt to the gym and back, and to get off my chocolate addiction, so believe me, I know.... It is not like Adam is somebody who just loves to pump iron. He does it, because he feels he has to, whether he wants to feel good for himself, the guys he is trying to attract, or because he feels that it suits the rock star image, whatever his motive, either way, he did the work, and I am saying thank you for the eye candy. Willpower and determination, that is what I see, and they are both very sexy. Yes, I know, Adam is sexy no matter what he does, it's true. But confident and buff Adam sure is more sexy still. But 'otter' WTF, Adam is no otter. Hairy arms and legs? Nope, a few stray blond hairs do not count. Shakes her head in confusion disgust. Men, and their ten-thousand mental boxes. So Adam is no bear, and so we need other sub-categories. Not computing in my head, for sure. But then, I always thought that women and men tend to look at 'looks' differently. Most men seem to go more for measurements, proportions, objective measurables. Women tend to look more what the image says to them, like I just did when I said willpower and determination. And that shapes the perception together with the actual physical attributes. If I look into Adam's face, I see for example kindness, intelligence, self-confidence and then I also see a great profile, beautiful eyes, a great jawline/head-shape, full lips, etc. I don't think I am able to see one without reflecting automatically on the other. I get the impression that guys see these things separately.

I hate it when I go all cynical. Because Jax is my fav, but what a way to get Glambert votes Glamberts are not that easy. Unless Adam tweets and asks his fans to vote for Jax, I can't see a big movement of Adam fans supporting her. I am watching The Voice this season -- so I really have no horse in this race. Maybe I will tune into AI later in the season. I'm liking the Voice so far. There's some good people that have been chosen. I'm sort of watching Idol at times but it's not holding my interest all that well. I may tune in later on in the season more regularly.
