He did explain the gap. It was a very personal situation and thus completely understandable. Here is a link to a complete version - remastered a bit - with some hiss removed and unpacked and split up...It doesn't take long on QZ Sun City Remaster

Last night Brian performed at the Hamburg Premiere of We Will Rock You in his usual slot - He comes up during the guitar solo of Bo Rhap and then back on for the headbanging section and finale. It's quite likely he played with the cast during the cast party afterwards - as that happens often but no confirmation on that. As always great pics from Thilo Rahn! More Pics from Thilo from the Hamburg WWRY Premiere

I don't know if it was sold out but it most likely was... I'm fairly certain that Brian's involvement was a..."surprise" at least to most casual observers. Most fans know that Brian tends to show up at premieres, closing dates, and special occasions...Roger does too on rarer occasion He does have a lot on his plate! As always :D Thanks for the voting link - I hadn't seen that yet and rarely see Roger in a poll!

So glad it's this and not running for office. I think little good would come for Brian if he ran for office!

Jim Beach was honored with the Peter Grant Award for outstanding achievement in band management last night. A very humble man, he was reluctant to accept as he hates being in the spotlight. ArticleIn an interesting twist.... More on SachaWow. So all of a sudden after having dropped out over disagreements with Brian and Roger, etc. he's now back on board, writing, directing, AND starring?!?!? Not quite sure how I feel about that. a. I supported his casting originally thinking that honestly as stupid and offensive as his characters can be - his full commitment to them shows that he can be an amazing actor. b. Does this mean Brian and Roger are finally taking a back seat and not being TOO precious with the product. This could be awesome...This also could be disastrous. It's hard to believe that after both Brian and Roger kind of spoke out saying they were worried about it looking like a joke, that now they are back on board. I'm a bit worried about it now to be honest. It's a bit a case of be careful what you wish for. I did wish for Brian and Roger to step back a bit so we didn't get a Disney-fied bio...BUT starring/writing/directing is a LOT to give to Sacha...I would much prefer that Sacha acted, and maybe helped on the script. I'm not sure about him directing it...I guess we'll have to see.. WWRY II is not new news necessarily, it's actually already been workshopped! But nothing further on what's next. In a related article Brian and Roger praised Jim for his award (small Adam mention: Article

So great for Mr. Beach to be recognized by his peers and for B&R to be there to support him. and WOW! Interesting news! Sasha is back in full force! I am thinking perhaps it is good to have less cooks in that kitchen so they can come to a consensus easier. I can't imagine B&R giving up control over the content though... and I wouldn't be surprised if this "phase" falls through as well... #sagacontinues (Hope this is not another April 1st joke)

Part where Adam is mentioned.
Beach used his acceptance speech to highlight the work both Taylor and May have done over the last 20 years to keep the band alive, including their latest worldwide tour that saw them perform 67 sold-out gigs with US singer/songwriter Adam Lambert. The MMF, Queen's "incredibly dedicated" team, and his wife were also on his thank you list.
