9 hours ago Adam Lambert’s ‘Runnin’ makes you want to run. Towards him and all he says. Adam Lambert shores up a dark, brooding self in this song, which definitely features among our favourites from his repertoire. Its gritty but sensual, exploratory of personal demons as well as universally applicable to anguish evident in human existence. Lambert’s voice is obviously evolved far beyond his capacities on American Idol, and we can totally understand why Queen collaborated with him. But nothing, and we mean, nothing beats the visually evocative wording of this song. Just take a look : 'Round and around I'd go, addicted to the numb Living in the cold The higher, the lower the down, down, down Sick of being tired and sick of waiting For another kind of fix The damage is damning me down, down, down Can you think of a situation these words will perfectly describe? We thought so. Juxtaposed against a catchy but soulful soundtrack are words to die for. This song comes very close to pop-rock perfect. Very close indeed.

Just a reminder on a slow, no-news (so far) day. Are you an Amazon junkie like I am? Or an iTunes junkie like Adam is? Then, help support ADAMTOPIA. Yes, there is a cost to keep this place running ad free with links and photos and gifs etc. Q3 never asks for help with it, tho' we would all be happy to contribute our share to preserve this wonderful meeting/info place. Well, you CAN contribute simply by using the links to Amazon and iTunes that appear on the bottom of every page of this forum. Don't ever type "amazon.com" in the address box of Chrome or Foxfire again. Don't ever click on the iTunes icon on you desktop. Go to ATop --- you are probably there already most of the day, right? --- and scroll to the bottom of the page. Click the link. Then, shop - and buy - as usual. It REALLY DOES HELP with forum costs. And it couldn't be easier. Buy something today! Now, back to your regularly scheduled program.
