Ok, I'm protesting the way they labeled their web site link for this article - ' i-enjoyed-throwing-my-sexuality-in-mainstream-americas-face-2" Really? That doesn't sound like Adam and it's not in the preview of the article. Just how sensationalized are they going to make this? Yes, not an Adam thing to say. BUT if SStone thinks it is a problem she will get it fixed. That is her job. Hopefully the protection patrol will stay off their website and leave it alone. Sounds better in context of his whole answer. And I'm sure they've proof read the text and seen the pics as well so I believe that's what he said. Why not a little bit of enjoyment amidst all defending himself - he's loud and proud after all.

<laughs> Not sure why photographers often seem to like shooting Adam with little dogs. Seems so random. (Plus, I get the feeling that if Adam ever *did* get a dog it would be something large and happy like a Labrador or Irish Setter). I have a vague recollection of Adam saying that his favorite dog was a dachshund. Does anyone else remember that or did I imagine it?

Adam's management seems to be doing a great job on Era 3. How exciting. I anticipate we will have many more goodies leading up to Ghost Town and TOH. Now is a good time to inform/remind all our wonderful members that we have a thread for our favorite news items. I created it, and I keep forgetting to post when we get something yummy. Today I remembered and put the Attitude interview there. But I am sure I have missed some other great ones. So, please help out, and when you see something we want to make sure not to forget or lose track of, post it here: adamtopia.com/thread/1221/favorite-interviewsIf you lose the link later, you can find it under "News and Information" -> News Favorites Please post the link to the interview/video/whatever so we can give hits to the original site. But, also, please copy text when you can, because we know that down the line, the articles or sites sometimes get deleted, and the content forever lost. Thanks.

He praised a Husky, but I don't remember if that was in response to someone else mentioning the breed or if he volunteered it.

There was a dachshund at a previous photoshoot, but he had (I think) a golden retriever growing up. Don't recall him ever saying what specific breed of dogs he liked tho'.

Yes, not an Adam thing to say. BUT if SStone thinks it is a problem she will get it fixed. That is her job. Hopefully the protection patrol will stay off their website and leave it alone. Well, he said something similar, but the phrase comes off very different when its not in context. In answer to the question: " How do you feel your sexuality comes into your music?" Adam states: " Well, it's kind of similar to what I'm talking about will all this. I don't feel the need to explain myself as much now. People know that I'm gay and I'm thrilled. I'm glad I don't have to explain that any more. In the beginning it felt like I had to defend it, in a way, especially in the United States where it's even more scrutinised in the media, and coming off a show like Idol which is so mainstream, it was just a bit of a culture shock for some people. I kind of enjoyed that, actually. I enjoyed the fact I got to be "that gay guy" and throw it in people's faces initially. It also became very evident that was the focal point, and sometimes it wasn't about the music, and ultimately I got into this as a singer, as a songwriter, as somebody who wanted to perform for people. The most important thing for me is still that. ".... Yes, edited my comment a bit ago after I read the article. Context is important. He has often said he liked to be provocative, don't recall hearing him being quite this blunt about it before though. Great interview. Lucky guy got to hear 4 songs...jealous that would be me.
