Saw the article about Fox TV redoing Rocky Horror, and suggesting Adam take the role of Frank. My reaction? Hell, no! I hope he stays 50 miles away from that. Adam is trying to reestablish himself in the minds of the public, as beyond the glam, the make-up, the eyeliner, the weird, punk, gay guy. He is going for a different branding. Accepting that role puts him squarely back into the queer, homo, drag Queen, weird caricature. Cast him in Grease when that airs on TV. Cast him in the movie version of Wicked. Cast him in a movie as a dark villain, or as the quarterback. Cast him against the stereotype. He can do it.

Seriously, I don't even know what to say about this :-/ Just no. I agree if you mean photoshopping and tweeting the result out without credits, unbelievable robbery IMO. But it seems to be the norm nowadays :( . On the other hand, it's great that the art was recognised quickly. It's a great piece and also the photoshop is nice so I'm hoping it can be used with credits to Rankin and Jessa Sininger.

Having lived through months of Adam versus Freddie comparisons on social media, I don't think I could face a similar round of Adam versus Tim.

Jessa Sininger even stated under that picture that she don't want it to be used as stock for others people works. I noted her on DA about this entire situation. It's her decision what to do about it but doing something like that without even asking for permission is bad on so many levels.

So while it might not be good for him right now, in my little heart of hearts I want this so much!!!

The more reason for Scorpiobert to act responsibly, acknowledge she got busted (cheated also?), apologize, tweet the credits etc. - and learn to respect other people (credit in the first place?). ETA Amended due to new info. My apologies to Scorpiobert for being too harsh.

I am so with you on this thinking....extend his brand....extend his own learning in the business to characters that open eyes as to his abilities. After MTN performance, Adam grew Glee to include a rather rational character. I was thrilled to see just how his acting and persona dominated the scenes he was in. I absolutely loved how he used his low voice and facial nuance with such charm. (Ie "lucky you"...when Kurt mentioned he was with Blaine all night). Comedy, for sure he can do it....from the Leno mistletoe I saw a subtleness to his comedy acting. The Divas was more overt....perhaps not my fav form, of comedy, but he spread his wings for TV. A bit SNL style. Dark....I can really see Adam getting into this, and Musicals that give him a new persona. There are so many good crime TV shows. After doing QAL, a casting agent would have to see a natural fit for Grease. The voice...the look ....and the attitude. While the album is building steam, and before a tour can build, and fitting in the QueenAL concerts, ........crossing fingers for a few opportunities to come his way that can fit into the already planned work ahead. Love to see some of the Tarentino, Speilberg's (kids) loving Adam "types" and having at least a connection that could eventually lead to a movie role when time permits. (Shankman seems a fan?...I think) I will keep dreaming...and I bet he does too! edit: was very happy Adam did not accept the offer of the character NPH played on Broadway.

So NZ should get it first. Their midnight of 21st will be Monday the 20th at 8 am Eastern U.S. Time If I had only known sooner I would have taken off work on the 20th instead of 21st to get my flailing on.
