I see that GT has taken the first "Taking Off" spot on All Access for HAC radio and the second spot for Top 40/mainstream. Things are looking good!?! Things are looking amazing for GT and Adam on radio. He had never, ever had any reception close to this from US Radio. Mediabase HAC #44 ADAM LAMBERT Ghost Town TW 324 LW 108 +216 Aud Impressions 2.503 million CHR somewhere in the 60's Ghost Town has at least 437 spins this week. Actually on CHR/Top 40 he should be spinning at least 600 and has got to be close to breaking into that top 50. Yesterday 103 stations increased their spin count over what they spinned last week. Now we don't know the exact numbers yet (hopefully we will by Sunday night if he's not in the top 50) but just one day shy of a week ago he was spinning 224 on the official Sunday chart so approx 427 + 224 or 650. He's moving up faster than the #50 mediabase song so perhaps we can cross our fingers and he'll show up on the chart so we can track him better after tomorrow.

I think it should hit #50 by Tues -- one week after impact date!! and that is without a big syndicated show spin.

How does having a remix of GT already out there impact GT the single? DJ DigiMark @djdigimark#AdamLambert Ghost Town @djdrewg @djbriancua #DirtyPop remix #NowPlaying on my #MixMashShow on @dancemixusa I'd say it's all to the good as they would really like this to take off in the dance clubs too and I think everyone agreed that would take a remix for the big clubs. The @djbriancua mixer has 87 thousand followers. I would think a lot of dancers who fall in love with the remix would like the original too. Also part of the job of the first single is to reintroduce Adam so exposure, exposure, exposure to help with album sales and get people looking forward to the next song we haven't heard too.

So if staging of this roll out continues we should get an announcement of some kind soon about the next "appearance" ... we pretty much assume Idol is off the table so what do people think are likely options because we know Ellen is just the first salvo.

Yup! He has a very good chance of breaking Top 50 this week! Maybe tomorrow evening! OMG!!! Jablea, there are 4 songs that could go recurrent tomorrow night too! I used to have all these number places bookmarked lol. So ok, added pulsemusic.proboards.com and kworb.net back into my list. I think the recurrent rules have changed in the last few years too as there are a variety of definitions on the net. Notes - for those reading along, a recurrent song has to meet these three criteria: -been in the top 40 songs of it's format for 20 or more weeks -lost spins for 2 or more weeks -not in the top 10 songs So we are looking at these four songs likely leaving the POP Top 40 chart (they will still be played by radio they just won't show up on currents charts) - One site said going recurrent was like a badge of honor for being around so long Very Likely: -Life of Dillon - Overload -Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud Quite Likely but a bit more questionable -Nicki Minaj - Truffle Butter -Mark Ronson - Uptown Funk Looking good for GT

Also find it a bit strange that the YouTube Music video is not going as fast as the Lyric video last weekend. But it's picking up some speed now again. Also if you combine the both the speed is pretty good again (around 9k per hour). Interestingly the snippets are still picking up plays as well. There is a playlist on Adam's Youtube channel that contains both video's and the snippets. So it seem people are playing that playlist as well. The music video seems to hit a lot more hot buttons as you can tell by reading comments on it. You either really like it or you only play it because you are a Glambert. The lyric video didn't have that problem. Also with the Ellen vids getting around 200,000 hits that's a lot of time that is not being spent on the GT official vid.

I don't think that people watching the Ellen show video is taking away from people watching the GT official video. We know that when one video is played constantly back to back, all of the views are not counted. So I watch all three in a row and then again later.
