May 12, 2015 117 Ft. Collins, CO KSME-FM Top 40 iHeartMedia, Inc. May 12, 2015 122 Santa Rosa, CA KHTH-FM Top 40 Sonoma Media Group I haven't combed thru the complete list, but I wonder if Washington DC is the only major US city where no stations have added GT. Ah well, I'm hopeful that one day it will happen. And I'm looking forward to seeing it on the Sirius Hits 1 Weekend Countdown eventually. From glancing at their website it looks like we can no longer vote on that countdown; like VH1 I guess they got tired of coping with the hard core voting fanbases (whoever they were) Nothing in Atlanta yet. Sigh

I'm sad right now. Just ran over a baby rabbit mowing the lawn. Think he is still alive, but probably not for long.

Sigh It looks like all the big markets are waiting to anoint GhostTown when it reaches Top 40 or greater. The hearts of the big radio stations in Houston are a GhostTown.

Adam voice has grown especially in its lower register. The top notes that he belts out on idol during PTFM or BTBW or Satisfaction, he has never done since, and so it is hard to tell how they would sound now. I don't think he has sung past F#5, in at least 3-4 years. Maybe there was one G5 somewhere, but at the moment, I cannot even recall that.
As far as richness, yes, the tone has gotten even warmer since idol. But to be honest, he already had a beautiful lower register on idol, and he was even given the hint to use it more, but clearly he did not feel like going there more. Perhaps it sounds to himself less convincing than it sounded to us, I don't know. Just know that he did not go there very often.
And as mentioned, he has gained a few notes more lower notes, and I think he has gained quite a bit of strength in the C3 - F3 range, since idol. Maybe his whole voice has dropped by about two notes, but it is hard to tell, given that he is not exploring his upper limits anymore. Does anybody know whether this passagio transitions have dropped a bit lower since idol? That would be an indication that his whole voice has gotten a bit lower.
Many people are comparing the original idol addition and the retake in front of JLo and HCJr to point out how his voice has gotten smoother. But I think that is a bit misleading. When he auditioned, he did not want to come across as too lyrical or too musical theater trained in his tone, because he knew that would not be passing muster with Simon, so he used more belting sounds that he needed. On the re-take, he did not care one bit about that, he just wanted to sing it beautifully. So, I don't think that comparison is a valid one.
ETA: Yes, the lyric video does count as a stream. I am not sure how the remix streams are treated though.

Purchases of officially remixed remixes count as sales but we do not have one yet.
