Okay, I am finally hooked. I have listened to it at least a dozen times, and now I can't stop. It is absolutely beautiful and his voice just wraps me in sexy. Great song. It should be another hit off the album. Beautiful.

Do I understand it correctly that Undeground is not going to radio? I guess not? (damn!) I wanna hear this on radio sooooo bad!!! Aww, gurl, I am sure the tracks that they have destined to be singles are even stronger and you'll love them. Count me in among those that think that between these two he totally made the right choice. GT stands out, UG blends in with lots of other stuff. GT makes a statement of mixing different current elements into something new, UG reminds you of other artists work (JT especially, which makes it NOT new) GT is risky, but makes a bold statement, UG is safe .... (... and to me a bit whiny, tbh)... GT can be sung live and sounds similar, as we saw on Ellen; UG would be Adam singing to backing tracks only, and these have lots of modified vocals - at least that is my take on them) For the type of boundary pushing artist that Adam is, I think he picked the right single to alert the world to what is coming down the line, and given its chart success, I think the risk is paying off. Having said that: With all the distractions going on, have you given the video a hit recently? Here it is: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ix8ocFEMa1o Having said all that, if the 'throw-it-out-for-free track is this good, I can only imagine, what quality work they had to pick from to find the two tracks to use as hand-me-downs. This is going to be a great album.....and this roll-out is just beautiful to watch. As I said: Like clockwork.

Craazyforadam - I completely agree with you, believe it or not. GT is perfect for radio, for all the reasons you state. I like GT, but Underground is probably more of a track I could listen to years from now. That doesn't negate GT as the right decision or mean that I dislike it. As I tell my husband when he complains about top 40... All music has a purpose. Some of it is like fast food, tastes good going down, then not so much later. Then there is music that is like ice cream. Still fast food, but you remember it as delicious. Then there are 4 course meals from 4 star resturants, which you wish to relive over an over. Everything serves its purpose. I couldn't live on fast food or 4 course meals everyday. Thankfully, I like all of it. Hubby can keep his classic rock station.
