Yes, Adam and Nate are polar opposites in so many ways. Both have big voices, but there it stops. Adam once said in an interview about getting a hit song that "it's not about the voice." He knows that the "best" voice isn't always the biggest seller. It doesn't work that way. Nate is fine and his fans love him. He will likely outsell Adam. Nate built up a good fan base with fun. But talent, charisma and voice? No comparison. Adam wins hands down. Love your description of Adam as slinky and seductive and simmering and mature. He has some young fans, but he definitely for grown-ups. I think Adam was born Rated R, in a good way. J/S! My goodness...Nate looks like some little street urchin from a Dicken's novel. Adam...lol...more like Heathclif..

Hmmm. Maybe Adam could take over for Fabio on romance novel covers!
Farah Fawcett, Fabio...I'm showin' my age today, and obviously fixated on the letter "F."

Loved all the performances and also the interview with Lindsey! He's looking so gorgeous again! Also love the red. That's totally my color. Great news also from the Netherlands! The Original High debuted at #10 in the Album Top 100!!! Sadly with only 16% of the sales of the #1 song (which was the Muse album), but still very nice considering the album is only available in a few places. Making it into the top 10 also gave it a bit of news worthy since right after there were some Dutch sites which headlined: Adam Lambert clincher of the Album top 10!
The album also got mentioned on the site from 3fm as the highest entry on the Album top 100: megatop50.3fm.nl/nieuws/detail/349654/pinkpop-laat-sporen-na-in-album-top-100Adam's part: #10 Adam Lambert: The Original High We had almost forgotten about him: the American singer Adam Lambert. After 'Whataya Want From Me', in 2010 a worldwide hit, it was a long time silent around him. But after five years he scores a hit with us again with 'Ghost Town'. The song is from his third studio album The Original High, co-produced by Sweden's Max Martin, who was responsible for his breakthrough in 2010. On eight of the eleven songs Lambert gave contributions.Besides the album news Ghost Town also did very good in our charts this week! Dutch Top 40: #21 (from #29) Airplay, streams and social media (no downloads). Single Top 100: #15 (from #18) Only downloads and streams. iTunes Top 30: #8 (from #6) Only iTunes (around the album drop GT wasn't available for a little which causes it to drop some). The last chart (Mega Top 50) which takes into account Airplay, downloads and streams will update tomorrow (last week #19) but I expect a rise there as well since GT is doing great in iTunes (#4 for quite some days already) and also in Spotify (#17 yesterday with 62k streams). Entering at number 10 is an amazing result. And he is the highest new entry. If WWFM was gis biggest hit in The Netherlands so far and FYE mase it to number 25 as the highest, then we could say that GT is a bigger hit? I a, so pleased that TOH is at this place in the chart. Very pride of Adam! What I can gather from the information on the internet (since I wasn't a fan back then) WWFM was a big radio hit and thanked his high position on the Top 40 ( #7 on it's 8th week in the chart, GT is now on it's 4th week) mostly on Airplay. Back then streaming wasn't a factor yet, but downloads were (WWFM was only available on download). If you look at the Single Top 100 which only takes downloads (and now streaming) WWFM did only make it to #23 (GT to #15 now) so WWFM wasn't bought that much. That probably also happened to the album. Although it came out on May 3rd, 2010 almost around the peak of WWFM it wasn't bought very much. But that's speculation. I don't know that for sure. For Ghost Town it's a bit the other way around. It's been downloaded a lot ( #3 in iTunes after the RTL performance and now #4 pretty steady) and it's also streamed a lot in Spotify with #17 yesterday. I also saw another MP3 download site where it was #10. Airplay however is a bit behind on that popularity. It was #28 on the Airplay top 50 last week and the week before that even #49. It's picking up now somewhat it seems, so he could be higher now. GT also is lacking one big station namely Skyradio. They have played WWFM a lot (still played it once every week until last year April). Ghost Town however isn't the music they play (AC station). It's on their online hits station, but not on their radio station playlist. Concluding: For the public GT is a bigger hit now since downloading or streaming a song is a choice they make and it's doing great so far. Radio however isn't completely going along with that yet. They might do that though and then it's completely possible that GT will be another top 10 hit for Adam. We'll have to see. FYI: as far as I know streaming is not incorporated in the Album top 100, but I haven't found any reference yet how that chart is build. And for those music nerds on the thread, they lowered the key for TOH by half a tone. Still very impressive upper range for so early in the AM. Wonder how long he had been awake and how much warm up he had to do. I only noticed because when they went to commercial, they played the album track. I was wondering if you noticed.
