It is really honest. I stream the album -- and I listen the whole thing. Then I try to listen to something else, I last one track and back to TOHD -- end to end. I would like to have part 2 now. Just curious as a kiwi does anyone here like Lorde? Listning to her album Pure Herione. I just love how edgy it is opposed to most pop girls music. Im listning to it as much as TOH. Although I think TOH is a bit more diverse, some of Lorde gets a bit dark haha. I still think Ghost Town was an inspired choice, I really like the song, as it reminds me of the XFiles Theme song haha. I still think next single well be TOH. It is perfect for a summer hit. Ghost Town hasen't really caught on over here, heard it once on The Hits 2 days ago. But hasen't really been played in over a month. The MV is very popular too, currently #13 on MTV Pop 20. TOH I think would come across better. I am a big Lorde fan -- married to a Lorde fanatic. Got to see her twice last year because she came to Ohio -- unlike another artist I follow and need to fly to see. "Ghost Town" is probably more suited to the US, parts of Europe and South Africa than it is to Asia Pacific. I think Adam is ahead of the curve with this one. TOH and ALN seems like a more globally accessible track.

And in NZ the MV is very popular. It is arguably his most popular MV here since WWFM. Consistently charting on the MTV Pop 20. Hoping it cracks Top Ten. I think ALN would be huge over here, as would TOH.

But this was not just a commericial album -- a product produced to sell -- this is really Adam's album. And that may be why I love it so much. It appears that there were two promotional missions: > Primary - relaunch Adam in the US. (And the US moreso than Canada.) Adam was an Adult Pop (HAC) artist in the US. WWFM was a perfect HAC hit. They needed a pop hit that would move beyond his core fans -- even if it was not a core Adam fan favorite. > Secondary - launch Adam in the UK. This one is up next. We'll see how it goes. They will at least have some interesting numbers from the US, an interesting and unique single, and a gorgeous artist. I am not feeling like GT is the song to break Adam into the UK. Then we have the rest of the world. Not forgotten, just does not appear to be the promo or product focus. The markets that track like the US (AU, Singapore) are going well. There really appears to be no focus on Japan or Germany when they selected/produced the tracks and that does surprise me a bit. Hate to say it, but I never recall a major US artist actually focusing on New Zealand.
