Morongo …. What can I say that has not already been said? First, Adam is the best vacation planner ever! Without him I would be overwhelmed about where to spend any vacation dollars, but he makes it easy. Where will Adam be next … Palm Springs, ok that looks like an interesting place that I have never been to, so let me check what kind of non-Adam attractions are available … hmmm, sounds good for an extra day, so I took a tram to the top of a mountain and drove around the Joshua Tree National Forest, which unexpectedly had some of the most unusual rock formations that I had seen in a long time. Tourist time taken care of, on to more exciting concerns. Stayed at a little desert inn with a lovely pool but sadly a broken internet and cell phone black hole making it necessary to actually interact with people and read a book. Since the people were largely from this great place called Adamtopia, it was a definite bonus and I would do that again anytime. Wine flowed, conversation was sparkly, and the subject matter was brilliant. The concert - it goes without saying that when Adam sings to a fan crowd, the audience is either stunned into silence or totally loses its shit. When I got back to the internet yesterday, I noticed that a set list was available before the concert started but being at the concert we had no idea what was going to happen next. The sense of anticipation, the unfolding of something new, was my absolute second (Adam is always first) favorite part. - Oh, he’s wearing white and a Stetson like the Ellen Show guitarist!
- OMG … OOL!
- Holy Fuck, his shirt lights up! Awesome!
- Is that Wicked Game?????
- YAY! There I Said it!
- Boom! Drops microphone … so there, bitch!
- LOL, a costume change to OMG … After Hours!
- Etc…….
Basically a wonderful night of OMG, LOL, YAY, !!!!!!!!!!! Lots of dancing, jumping, swaying, and heart eyes and I am talking about everyone, no one sat except for moments to catch one’s breath. It was great. Oh, and After Hours in concert, just dreamy sexy. I also want to give props to the band. I am one of the people who found the last group of musicians distracting. Not these guys. There were no in your face gaps where the sound did not measure up to the music. They all did an excellent job and added to the music, not detracted. The bass player made Shady/AOBTD great, the drummer displayed imagination and mastery. Overall, they provided a very pleasing fullness to the concert which doesn’t completely come through in the videos. I hope they stick around for a while and that as Adam becomes more familiar with them, there will be even more interaction. Now, I am just waiting for a full tour or at least another full concert so that I can decide where to take my next vacation.

Thanks for the recap. I watched the stream without knowing the setlist and was also surprised, but that's nothing like being there in person!

This was my first Adam “only” concert since GlamNation. I did go to several QAL shows but this was Adam and Adam’s new music.
I decided that no matter what, if Adam did any type of performance that was this side of the Mississippi, I was going to get there one way or another. And it happened! A radio sponsored show in California with tickets to win or some for purchase. Ticket angst immediately set in and hoped for the best. I did get a ticket and it was a decent seat.
Special thanks to grandduchess for sharing information about the Coyote Inn. A wonderful little spot to relax and enjoy along with a few other Atop members that stayed.
There was a lot of buzz in the room at the Morongo. Very diverse group of people. Lots of Adam fans and talked to several who were new fans and were so excited to see him perform for the first time.
The opening act was a group called Phases. Can’t remember much about them. Everyone around me talked about Adam and didn’t pay much attention to what was happening on stage. They talked about how excited they were to see him perform. Speculation on how many songs. Would he do TISI? Is he going to do anything from other albums? Wishes for more than 5 or 6 songs.
There was electricity in the air as Adam was introduced. As he walked out and started singing OOL with the transition to GhostTown, I knew this was something very special and then his shirt lit up. You never know what he is going to do. So glad I was there. Each song was greeted with cheers. The audience was totally into the performance. Singing, clapping, swaying, glow sticks, dancing, only a few sitting. Diverse audience with lots of love for Adam. If the only song for the night was Wicked Games it would have been worth the trip but it was so much more than that. 12 songs. Such a wonderful gift from Adam. After Hours was a treat and you could tell Adam had fun singing that song. TISI was powerful. Not much else you can say about it. Blew you away. I love ALN.
Decided to not take pictures or video and just focus on Adam and the performance. Lots of great stuff posted on line to enjoy later. Already did a DVD and CD of concert for additional viewing and listening pleasure.
As others have said, not a fan of reggae IIHY. WWFM could be worked in somewhere else but I am hoping at some point it is replaced by a Grammy WINNING song from The Original High.
Before I headed to the airport I had a chance to visit with 808glam who flew in from Hawaii. She had a great seat at the concert and we must have talked for almost an hour and a half about Adam and the show but I had to leave to catch my plane. Special thanks to Q3 for chauffeuring and momtomany for the Sunday morning walk (even with the bad ankle). So good to see LindaG23 again. Her recap is really great.
My new chant: There will be a tour! There will be a tour! There will be a tour!

YAY 4EverAdam!
Glad you found out who the mysterious Hawaiian was and wish she could have joined us Saturday night in our swim. I felt bad about that.
I will join your chant. TOUR! TOUR! TOUR!

This review is on Ticketmaster and is a wonderful recap of the evening.
Back in the Saddle Again Morongo Casino - cabazon, CA - 07/18/2015Posted 08/04/2015by SDagogo This Fan's Reviews Top 100 Contributor
The house lights are turned off. The supporting musicians take their places on the dark stage. Sparse blue stage lights illuminate, creating silhouettes. Anticipation grows. The crowd begins chanting, “Adam! Adam! Adam!” A tall figure sporting a wide brim rancher-style cowboy hat enters the stage. Wild screams. Still bathed in blue light, the song OUTLAWS OF LOVE begins. Adam sings into a white microphone. He is wearing: white jacket fitted white ripped pants white shirt short white boots with silver studs silver fingerless gloves with silver rivets black nail polish With a nod to the band, GHOSTTOWN begins (the crowd sings along). The stage goes black. Blue lights come up, Adam pounds his heart and his vest glows with LED lights. The lights pulse with the impact of his fist. The stage light brighten up so his face is more visible. He sings, dances and grooves through the song. Blue lights and vest gone. Warm orange, red lights. Adam is completely visible now. UNDERGROUND Everyone is singing along. Adam sings and puts his hand to his ear and points to either side of the crowd when he wants them to join in. “I want you!” stage left. “I need you!” stage right. Cowboy hat gone now. ANOTHER LONELY NIGHT “Yeah! How you guys doing? You enjoying the rain out there? We are in the desert, aren’t we?” I mean, what the ***k? It's raining?! I don’t get it. Well, I got a little bit of a surprise for you on the next song. It's a cover. So let's see if you guys can figure out what I'm singing.” WICKED GAME (Chris Issac cover) “So this album, The Original High-” Cheers. “You like it? Really? Thank you. It's definitely about some games that are being played – let me tell you. Mother f-ers be playing games!” He laughs. “Sometimes you gotta stand your ground and speak your mind.” THERE I SAID He holds the final note, glares and drops the microphone – walks off stage. After a few minutes, Adam returns in a new outfit. He is wearing: white graphic tank black leather vest black leather pants (with knee slits) black boots black fingerless gloves with silver knuckles metallic gold temporary tattoo on arm “I HAD to do a costume change, you guys! Come on!” AFTER HOURS “It's time to get late night with me now. I put on leather!” He laughs. THE ORIGINAL HIGH “You guys having fun?” cheers “Yeah?” takes a sip of water. “Oh my god, Glamberts! Can I tell you something?! I got that song title, the album title, tattooed on my chest! I really believe in this album, damn it!” He raises his fist and laughs. “Literally, it's very close to my heart. Thank you so much for your support! Ghosttown is on the radios! This album is pumping in your cars! In the club! Does anybody listen to it at the gym? Right? It's great after a couple of drinks.” He laughs. “The Original High. So we got a surprise for you tonight, um, I got an old song...'cause I gotta do some of the ones that are from the other albums that you guys love – that I love!” cheers “Right? But we turned this one right up on it's ear. Here's IF I HAD YOU.” Green and blue lights. Reggae beat and arrangement. “I gotta introduce you to my musical director and this amazing band. You wanna meet them? On bass: Josh On drums: Timmer On keys: Peter On guitar: Brad and musical director: Chris Poolee So we're gonna dig into some of your favorites right now, ok? You ready for this?” SHADY “You want another one? Hit it!” TRESPASSING (ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST excerpt) back into TRESPASSING EVIL IN THE NIGHT During the song, Adam goes to the edge of the stage. He sits down in front of a young lady – who is in the front row. “Dance with me,” he invites. He continues singing. She dances and copies his hand and arm movements. Adam then jumps back onstage to finish the song. “Ladies and gentlemen, you have been amazing tonight! I love you!” Adam puts the microphone on its stand and ducks backstage. Encore: Adam returns to the stage. “Got me working up a sweat! Whew! And I'm worried I had nipple-gate a minute ago!” He adjusts his vest. “Shoot!” He laughs. “You saw it? Great...” He shrugs. “High five!” He laughs. “Well, I guess I'm not gonna be doing to Super Bowl anytime soon, am I?” “Ok, you guys wanna hear one last song? Think you might know this one.” WHATAYA WANT FROM ME “Thank you very much, ladies and gentlemen. Thank you! Good night!” Adam puts on his white cowboy hat and walks off-stage.
