I think the word lying is a bit harsh. It is just a bit of a fib and I think he mostly tells them because he doesn't want the interviews getting bogged down with talking about makeup, hair dying, and facial treatment. I think he also glosses over talking about vocal techniques because he thinks that might be boring to a lot of people.

But compared to the eye makeup and foundation he was using years ago, he might just as well be using no makeup. Probably everyone who is going to be photographed uses something. I do love the freckles though! (I don't use makeup either, so what do I know?) Yeah I know that every artist who goes outside probably has at least something on their face. I always use a day cream without the BB stuff, but they just stopped producing my cream and now only BB cream is available. My skin is however very sensitive and I still got acne (although I'm 33). When I cover my face up with that stuff it probably will get worse. I only use a bit of mascara now and then, but my sensitive eyes don't like that much either. It's just that I love his honesty about almost anything and I hate lying myself. To have him hear saying that he doesn't do it while he very obviously does it just seems a bit weird to me. I also dye my hair, but I'm at least honest about it. The color is close to my own though and mostly because my own color is quite boring (used to be blond as a child, but now more pepper and salt brownish) and I also got some grey hairs already that I need to camouflage (at 33 it's a bit early to go grey, but it runs in the family). What is "BB"? I think Adam also wears a little mascara. Normally, someone with light hair & coloring does not have eyelashes as black as Adam's.

Six years ago on AI Adam was hounded relentlessly about not announcing he was gay while standing on that stage. And here folks would adamantly say he should not be asked such a personal question nor should he have to make a public statement about his life.
Now we expect absolute truth about botox and hair color even though it is obvious that he does both from time to time. And label him a liar when he does not?
What the fuck!

So agree! Adam is an entertainer/performer and as such always has to be "on" when he is out in public. Whatever it takes to make him feel comfortable and presentable doesn't have to be broadcast to the world...even to his ardent fans. All we need is the finished product which is a fabulous sight to behold - ALWAYS.

I just read some of the comments back a bit and I must say some of it really disturbs me! Adam gets asked so many personal questions about his hair, makeup, clothes and love life etc. None of it is our right to know. Now does he or doesn't he Botox! I wish people would stop speculating about this. It's his business! Then to be called out because he doesn't tell us! I call this BS!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is "BB"? I think Adam also wears a little mascara. Normally, someone with light hair & coloring does not have eyelashes as black as Adam's. From Wikipedia: BB cream stands for blemish balm, blemish base, beblesh balm, and in Western markets, beauty balm. It is a cosmetic item sold mainly in Asian markets, although the majority of larger beauty brands have introduced BB creams to Western markets.BB cream is promoted as an all-in-one facial cosmetic product to replace serum, moisturizer, primer, foundation and sunblock. It can be worn alone as a tinted moisturizer, over serum and moisturizer as a regular foundation, and under powder, depending on the desired amount of coverage.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BB_creamIt's taking over the basic creams for some reason. It covers up imperfections so that's maybe the reason why it's so popular. There was however some reports that it was not so good for the more sensitive skin. But let's shut up about the make-up and stuff. He is way more natural than he was before and it's suiting him very well. I believe this is one of the most natural photographs taken lately: http://instagr.am/p/5xU5CXlXmu

And to make up for it. One for the drool bucket! I seem to can't stop staring at it for some reason.

Regarding the hair, make-up and facial discussion -- please take a deep breath. It is not that important.
And please be respectful.
Thanks.
