The promo should ALSO have been done when GT dropped in the UK and going to radio. She may have done a good job elsewhere, but the UK is a fail. Sorry my feelings. WB-UK should also have done a better job.

WB-UK should also have done a better job. He can't be everywhere and I see absolutely nothing wrong with them prioritizing other places where he had more hope of a response. Shoshanna's got him promo but she would also be at the mercy of other decisions as to where he is going to be. She got promo for him when he was able to be there. His promo schedule everywhere he has been has been jam packed. I think you are choosing to blame her because for some reason you have taken a dislike to her but the things you are upset about are NOT under her control. She got him the promo that helped him get a top 10 album debut, better than Trespassing did. Radio is not her responsibility.

Sadly, I think this is the top and bottom of it. I too had hopes for Capital because they've seemed more receptive in the past I think. It's just a little dispiriting, as a Brit, to see other countries being enthusiastic and charting the song because they've actually had the chance to hear GT. If he doesn't succeed over here, we will miss out on live performances once again. I've seen him 4 times and sadly only one of these was not QAL (because it's all about me of course) Lol.....it's all about me too! i've been lucky enough to be able to travel to see Adam - both in solo shows and for (16) QALs... But it's a sobering thought to realise that I have only seen him twice in concert (without Queen) here in the UK - Both were GNTs in Nov 2010!! Nearly five years...... Edit....just want to add that I am hopeful he'll do a show here soon. He has certainly built up enough of a following here to do something, with or without a hit single... if he tours worldwide ,which he will, im sure ,he will def do dates in europe ,there were 4 GNT, in the uk ,all sold out , there,s bound to be shows here ,and if not we shall just have get a tour bus ,and head to europe ,i,ll drive !

apparently GT is no longer on bbc2 radio playlist Well Shosh didn't do very well in the UK, did she!!! He needs that market and she is a royal fail there!!! I'm hours late and this has probably been discussed, lol, but this was discussed a couple of days ago. Her job is publicity. It's the label's job to get the song on the radio. Plus apparently in the UK things work differently than here. It seems Adam is much better known in the UK than he was in the past, so I'd say she's done what she can.

The promo should ALSO have been done when GT dropped in the UK and going to radio. She may have done a good job elsewhere, but the UK is a fail. Sorry my feelings. WB-UK should also have done a better job. The radio impact date for GT in the UK was pushed back several times. The last date mentioned was 7/31, and then that was cancelled with no new date reported. So Shoshanna didn't have a firm date to match up her PR efforts. The focus in the UK became more about the album release. Bottom line is Shoshanna did her job. As far as Warner is concerned, Q3 and others have mentioned that radio works very differently in the UK than in the U.S. We don't know what Warner did to get airplay for GT, but I find it hard to believe that they simply dropped the ball in the UK when they made such a good effort in other markets. The truth may be that GT just didn't generate a lot of enthusiasm at UK radio. It happens, even to bigger stars than Adam. Maybe the next single will do better.
