Some of the fancier audio editing software programs have a function to extract the vocals. Likely they do this by running the audio through a band-pass filter keying in on the frequencies that predominantly contain vocals and not instruments. The process is not perfect as described in: www.digifreq.com/digifreq/tip.asp?ID=5These programs can also do the opposite and eliminate the vocals for use as a karaoke tract. ITA -- I believe this was done with a software program. 1. There is NO CHANCE that any fan was allowed to tap into the soundboard. NO CHANCE. This is a licensed event and that would violate the broadcast rights. 2. You can pick up Adam's monitor frequency and his mike feed in the venue if you find the frequency. But for Q+AL the backup singers are one their own frequencies. So it would just be Adam. I think that she isolated the vocals which can be done with audio editing software. That may be but every once in a while you can hear what sounds like the FOH or someone else talking. For example, just before Ghost Town you can hear someone 'announce' the song. Or would that be a band member and it is just covered up on any combined broadcast?

Another take on the great Save Me debate is that Brian's guitar was unplugged form the amp. Listening to the isolated vocals, there is no guitar until after Rufus does his thing. Oh! someone else thought the same...it is quite an interesting puzzle.

WOW!!! I was just about to tell my granddaughter to turn down her loud radio when I heard the familiar sound of Ghost Town on this station here in Philly! They're a Top 40 station but they're very urban oriented and they play a LOT of rap. 965amp.cbslocal.com/I believe that is one of the stations that added just last week. SPIN BABY SPIN!

Oh! someone else thought the same...it is quite an interesting puzzle. I tend to agree, the only thing that can be heard are the drums, certainly the vocals and the guitar sound go...
