Yes!!! Now who is responsible for plugging Brian in??I have no idea -- Perhaps someone else knows. I think it is one of the production crew who should have turned the amp volume up.
I am just happy that Rufus is really speedy! Shhhh! Don't tell Jill!

Shit happens in a big production and from experience the person responsible is usually harder on themselves than anyone else is. Didn't cause a lasting problem - show went on, only the obsessed noticed

Since Brian has a special guitar tech changing his guitars for certain numbers, it's possible that he somehow neglected to plug Brian's guitar in. I am 90% sure it is not Pete's responsiblilty. He did not do it in the US. And I think it was something was not switched on vs. not plugged in. Brian's rig (which I got to see at one concert in the US) is really, really complicated. Well beyond me. (I have a guitar that plugs into an amp.) Brian as 10,000 cables and boxes involved in his set-up plus multiple amps. A truly unique setup. The guitar itself is wireless. There has never been anyone coming onto the stage to turn Brian's amps and recievers on or off during a concert. There is no need to plug and unplug the amps, they are controlled from a sound board. Therefore, it would seem most likely that a cable or plug got knocked loose as Roger, drum watcher guy, and/or Rufus were moving through that gap between the drum kit and the amp tower. Hence, Rufus knew exactly where to go and what to do.

Thanks for all the fun you sleuths have been providing. I (who does not know anything about this kind of thing) thought it had something to do with Brian's guitar just by watching his reaction. He looked like he was trying to play, looked a bit surprised and then sat down to wait for it to be fixed. The consummate pro who has done many a show and seen it all!
