This is ripped from the stream from AdamLambert_pics. Hopefully we'll get a HQ one later w/o the buffering. That was pretty funny. Adam got more than a few laughs from it himself. Wonder why he sang damn - they didn't seem to have a problem with buttplugs! Maybe he'd decided on the clean version of the backing track from the get go because it was TV. Thanks for posting it, bamafan. I couldn't access the others.

Ah, Holst! You and I are on the exact same page of music! Perhaps our musical tastes were both shaped in our formative years by listening to the intricacies of classical music and great American standards by Gershwin, Cole Porter, and the like. The complexity of Queen's catalog is also one of the main reasons I love hearing Adam sing with Queen. Three and four chord songs certainly make up a majority of today's pop and country music. Some of the dance and hip hop songs have only two. If that is what a listener was raised on, the familiarity of sound and structure probably "strikes a chord" with them and more harmonically and musically complex compositions leave them cold. As the Emperor purportedly told composer Amadeus Mozart, "And there are simply too many notes, that's all. Just cut a few and it will be perfect."It reminds me of my musician sister filling in on keys for a local country band. They apologized that they did not have sheet music for many of the songs they performed, and didn't know how she would be able to learn them. She smiled and suggested they just start playing through a song. By the second chorus she was able to join them seamlessly. They were amazed. But, for a classical and jazz trained professional musician of many years, playing even unfamiliar 3 and 4 chord songs was a piece of cake. (Please, readers, don't take this as criticism of pop music or listeners. There are soooo many different styles of music enjoyed by many people. Isn't it wonderful that we all can find samples that touch us and move us? And isn't it wonderful that Adam F. Lambert can sing so many of them so sublimely? Something for everyone.) Wonder if these two points are why I love the improvs that Adam does, so much. More notes, more complexity, playing with the structure - I just melt. I still love big band, jazz and blues more than current pop music (in general - there are some current songs and artists I am quite happy with).

Don't forget that today is Sunday and many people do family gatherings on Sunday. Also, it is Thanksgiving in Canada. I know and I understand.. I also know that Adam has lots of fans outside of Adamtopia.. and I wonder where they are.. I also wonder where gigi's fans are..Happy Thanksgiving to our wonderful Canadian Adam fans..Enjoy your families .. Now how about the fans in the U.S.??? LOL I will update every couple of hours .. If you don't want the cheerleading and nudging .. tell me and I will stop. Just my 2 cents. It's a 4 day weekend, the weather is gorgeous at least here on the east coast, and lots of people are enjoying the last signs of summer and early fall. Never stop the cheerleading and nudging though. I personally welcome it and need to be reminded.

Getting the damn playback restriction off of it would help too. Yup I agree.. I did 5 repeats, panicked and I was sitting at the computer watching . I think a lot of artists have folks do repeats for them,somehow,.. when I see 8 million ,kind of thing,in two days... come on
