I am wondering if we will get TOH US tour announcement this week now that the radio shows are done. Still trying to hold March open. I really doubt it. It'd be such a 'dead' week to announce something. Everyone is into the holidays. I think the tour will be July/August and announcement will be first week of February.

I don't know how much staging to expect. We may get to hear the song arrangements we will be hearing on the tour...maybe not all the songs. I'm dying to know which new ones he's gonna do that we haven't heard live. Eeeek. We're gonna be dying to see/hear that first Chinese show. We're gonna miss our Periscopers and Mixlr folks. I'm assuming they don't do that in China? But I dont know. We should get some vids though I would think.

Ah...so you think he'll announce as soon as he finishes in Australia. " International Superstar Adam Lambert who just wrapped up his acclaimed TOH Tour in China, Japan, NZ and Australia....announces the North American leg of his International tour......cities and dates"

I just caught the last 5 minutes of the Miss Universe contest and they could not have whacked it up more if they tried!! LOL but poor girls. Steve Harvey was the MC/announcer/host....and could they have made a worse choice!!! then he actually announced the first runner up [Columbia] as Miss Universe...then after her crown is on and she is waiting for the walking music....he comes up and apologizes but it is the 'first runner up' who is actually Miss Universe [Phillipines}....and everyone stands there....nobody knows what to do...nobody wants to actually take the crown off of miss Columbia's head and poor Miss Philippines misses her chance to walk the aisle and clearly feels really badly....completely monumental f#$k-up.
Be nice if that spelled the end of the outmoded tournament of T & A. Seriously....ludicrous display of ineptness

NYE shows, no matter where they are, are usually crowded with all kinds of celebration activities. My guess is that Adam's NYE performance will not be what the TOH tour show will be like. I'm sure he'll do a great set, and I'm hoping that Terrance and Dani will do both dancing and back-up vocals like I assume they will in the actual tour. But he probably won't have the same staging, etc. that I assume he'll have on tour. That being said, I'm just certain that the NYE show will be great. Hope things have calmed down about Adam's coming to Singapore. I think the vast majority of viewers there are excited to see him. Can't wait to see vids from the show!

ALN is looking like one of those slow but steady risers. It's a very easy song to listen to with a big grab-able hook. I think it has broad appeal. Hope to see it keep on rising. So happy that it looks like TOH will be the next single. I LOVE that song so much. Great melody, big punch to the chorus and really intelligent lyrics. Hope we can make it come out strong and move on up the charts, too.
I posted this on twitter today. It is VERY important to keep numbers in context. I just checked where GT was on HAC 5 weeks after it went to radio & it was 24. Today ALN is 28. It would be 26 tonight if it weren't holiday time with a freeze on recurrents and purges. Here is my twitlonger RAdio numbers in context"For a few weeks, the numbers will be skewed. Why? 3 reasons, Adele, Beiber, but mostly the "recurrents' and purges" freeze. No old songs are being removed from the charts. This not only pushes songs off the chart, but also raises the "spin bar!" ALN now has about 912 spins. Normally, about 650-700 spins gets a song to #50. Exactly one month ago, the #50 song had 658 spins. The song with around 900 spins was at #44. Two months ago, the #50 song had 465 spins! The song with around 900 spins was at #39! ALN is increasing spins every week and is increasing stations playing it every day. If my guess of 912 is close, it has increased by about 50 spins from last week. Pretty sure it is #51, BTW! So, hang in there until Jan. 3rd & 10th." (Thanks to Rihannsu, for the inspiration to make this post)
Thanks for that explanation. It makes more sense to me now and I'm still hopeful that ALN will keep on rising. Sometimes the "Adele/Bieber etc." effect can really get me down. But it is possible to get a record up high on the charts despite their dominance. I LOVE ALN and want it to do well. Looks like TOH will be the next single. I think it's a really strong song. Love to see him perform it live.

I just saw an advertisement for a documentary / video of Taylor Swifts tour - I had really hoped we would have had a QAL DVD by now - or at least had official news of it

I know it's slow, but was thinking that Adam so so deserves this break, after giving his all on-stage, each and every show. Of course, I had to admit it would be such a void for this period of time, while Adam recharges his batteries, before NYE and the Tour. Par excellence and I for one appreciated all the streamers and videos, etc., but it does feel like a hiatus, such as you get with TV programming. Doesn't help that cable sucks right now. Soon! But really appreciate Adam's dedication to his artistry and his fans.
