Finnberts want to help fans who cannot afford tickets
Adam Lambert’s Finnish fans Finnberts want to give fans who have less money an opportunity to see their idol. Finnberts have organized a ticket bank where you can either donate a ticket or ask for a ticket if you cannot afford one.
Adam Lambert performs in Hartwall Arena on April 21st. Lambert became known in 2009 when he competed in American Idol. The Original High Tour begun in Asia in the beginning of the new year.
Adam Lambert’s international fans, Glamberts, have a history of donating albums and tickets to people who cannot afford them. Similarly, Finnberts want to do good, which is why the Share & Care ticket bank was created.
“The feeling of joy when a concert is announced versus the feeling of disappointment when you are not able to afford the ticket or travelling expenses or at least not both of those. That is where a Finnbert got the idea for the ticket bank from. When I missed out on buying a Queen & Adam Lambert North American Tour t-shirt even though I was there, I asked on Twitter if someone had a spare shirt so I could buy it. I got two shirts, for free, from people who I have never met,” Marianne from Finnberts explains the fans’ activity.
“One person or a group buys a ticket. We give it to a person who needs it based on their application. People have already donated tickets,
but there have been more applications than donors. We reply to everyone personally,” Marianne continues.
