My memory of Adam in Korea is from Feb. 17, 2013. A group of about 20 fans sat in a circle on the concrete floor after his concert. Everyone was gone, the instruments, everything on the stage, gone. They didn't want to leave the place where they had experienced "him". I have looked for that picture but didn't locate it. When he returned with Queen (8-14-2014), I remember the complaints of the Koreans singing all the songs and we couldn't hear him very well. Well nothing has changed, but I still enjoy them singing along. "I was Born to Love You" when he sang it to them with Queen, it was very moving. They don't forget. Well I don't care about the complainer. Just watching Ghost Town video and listening to fans singing along with him is amazing. Adam spesifically mentioned in an interview that he loves Korean fans coz they singing along with him instead of just sit there folding their arms. This is the kind of concert he likes, the audience engages with his singing.

Yea, that spin Adam did is REALLY difficult to do well. However, the shimmy he did a few days ago is really easy. I could teach someone in 5-10 minutes. The hard part is keeping it going for a long time and doing other movement layered on top of the shimmy, i.e., while doing the shimmy. Basically: 1) Bend your right knee while straightening your left knee. 2) Bend your left knee while straightening your right knee . Repeat 1) & 2) over and over again. Now, do it twice as fast. Now 4 times as fast, now as fast as you can. That's it!! Now, as you are doing the shimmy, lean forward over the balls of your feet. The shimmy will be very tight with out much hip involvement. This is the classical "Egyptian Shimmy" in belly dance. Now lead back over you heels and the shimmy will be very large and loose with noticeable movement in the hips. This is a "Turkish Shimmy" in belly dance. American belly dancers tend to put their weight over the middle of the feet, i.e, the arches which produces a shimmy effect inbetween the two extremes above. Looks to me that Adam has his weight more towards his heels for a large, loose hip shimmy. Plus he layers some small hip circles on top of the shimmy during part of the shimmy. Is there a ready available video of this shimmy, please..? Adam's shimmy starts at about 12:45, but start watching about 12:30. www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-UgkEqn1iI&feature=youtu.beIf you want an instructional video on how to do a shimmy, I could probably find one too.
