The official GT video uses damn. I think the overall appeal of the video generally over rides the fuck, but it certainly is a limiting factor on where the video can be publicly played. But probably doesn't account for a 50-million play difference. Anyway, there won't be any fucks in TOH.
Have to say, I like ALN better than GT, although I've supported both with all my heart. As Adam once said, "GT is a weird little song," really out of the mainstream, different. Hence, it got big attention and that's great. I'm not surprised it did so well worldwide. But ALN is a more radio-friendly song, IMO. It has a sound with broader appeal, IMO. And I LOVE the video. It tells a story about glamor and loneliness. Just needed more Adam.
I hope he makes a killer video for TOH. It is a fantastic song that is the signature theme of the album. Can't wait for it to be released. And I'm continuing to view ALN whenever possible.

Is that why Gt did better on U.S. radio THEN Aln lol? Just saying. Gt was a bold choice. Its different and it stood out..Iike Aln bit safe though.

10 new tickets released yesterday at the LA Orpheum balcony for Saturday April 2nd. Only $45. Looks like there are only 6 left today.

Actually not so hard. The non stop ( the reverse of the one he just took) leaves at 8:30 am and arrives LA at 12:45 pm. Time zones work in his favor coming back I understand the flight times but what I was attempting to point out was while doable, would you really feel like partying ( a tough get) after the three day turn-around that he would have had. 32 hours of flight time plus the gig in less than 72 hours, no party for me, show me my house and my bed! I am not Adam. Do I think he would go to Grammy parties? Absolutely!

From skaschep! Songs: TOH just went to radio there 44. Ghost Town 53. The Original High GT also bumped into the top 200 in the Netherlands again. No idea what caused that.

This is United Arab Emirates (iTunes). Not Netherlands! TOH is not official in the Netherlands yet although one regional station tweeted about it.

Ghost Town is a great song that has an interesting visual video that appeals to folks that watch vidoes while listening to pop music and ALN does not. Jmho I agree with you... Once you've seen the ALN video a few times, you know the story and there's no need to keep watching. It won't catch people's attention in a club. And there's not enoug Adam in it! I don't dislike the video, but I can see why it hasn't been played like GT. What I don't get is why the song didn't do better on radio. I'm pretty sure TOH will do better. I like ALN the song in itself, but I felt no need to go back to the video after initial viewing. Not enough Adam, not enough Adam "hotness", and too many awkward parts for me...Still, I keep reminding myself to play it Fingers crossed for the next mv to kill it!

Not sure if this article was posted here, but this is an interesting read about how artists and companies like Ticketmaster are trying to combat spec selling (e.g. brokers "selling" concert tickets before onsale dates or before they have tickets in hand). www.billboard.com/articles/news/live/6835356/adele-bruce-springsteen-tour-spec-pricing-secondary-marketExcerpt:Red-hot tour onsales by Adele and Bruce Springsteen sparked renewed furor around ticket reselling in late 2015, challenging the primary industry to even the playing field and frustrating fans who found themselves faced with much higher prices on the secondary market as their only option.
Ironically, often it is the artists’ attempts to keep prices reasonable that create an environment that makes reselling tickets such an attractive arbitrage opportunity in the first place. The upside is such that highly motivated ticket brokers invest heavily in technology that allows them to outmaneuver primary market ticketing companies by using automated "bots" that repeatedly purchase tickets at on-sale or at the pre-sale. Combined with other channels resellers use to acquire inventory, brokers are so confident in their ability to acquire tickets that they’ll post them on secondary sites like StubHub, Ticket Liquidator or Vivid Seats before they even have the tickets in hand or, in some cases, before tickets have even gone on sale.
Such was the case on Springsteen’s River tour, which was announced Dec. 4. Tickets immediately went up on the secondary sites, despite the fact the official onsale wasn’t until a week later. In a practice known as "spec" or "speculative" selling, brokers were banking on their ability to procure good tickets when they did go on sale, a tactic that has become "too common," according to one old-school ticket broker who spoke with Billboard on the condition of anonymity. "It’s almost like shorting the market with stocks, selling an option that you don’t have."
