When the Grammy's are on and Adam is not nominated for an award or performing I'll just remember what true music icons feel about Adam being a one in a million talent......... Well said!!! These pix bring tears of joy to my eyes.

Toh reminds me of Prince a bit. I agree it should be a smash. Should hv been second. But ah well. Right time I think it could really resonate. Has potential to give him a Top ten Bb hot 100 hit. May be TOH wasn't picked as a second single as it's more of a summer song? Cool that it's already released as a single Down Under. "Logistics aside", I clearly prefer TOH over ALN. I see it as Adam's defining song of era 3 and I absolutely love it!!! I can listen to it over and over and never get tired of it. I think that the falsetto makes the song stand out and yeah there's a bit of Prince vibe in there. Good thing that Adam can switch to a lower register for live performances though.

That eitn could be a good third single. Such a good song live. I think.like gt has that immediate hook. That Aln just didn't have. I also think if Wb are serious about the.third. Book him on Fallon. Or a major talk show. Needs a mass audience. Shown when masses are aware his music sells as anyone. Tv seems to be his selling point. He was on Fallon last June. Has not done Kimmel yet. I think TOH is the next single. It is already official in several countries. EITN would need a radio edit for the US, IMO.
We've all been saying forever that Adam has got to get booked on the big night time talk shows. He did Fallon and James Cordon. He needs to get on Kimmel and even Colbert, sing his new single AND do a sit-down interview. That's when his personality really shines. But just a chance to sing his next single would be enough. TOH will surely be the next single, and it's the best choice, IMO. I guess I'm in the minority, but I think ALN is a great song with a really strong hook. I love to hear him sing it. It did well, I think, but wasn't the hit we hoped it would be. Hope WB gets Adam some TV face time in the US, where he REALLY needs strong promo. I look at the Grammy line-up, and I'm so frustrated that he isn't there with a nom.

These pix bring tears of joy to my eyes. I see these pictures and I cannot worry about Adam's career in the slightest. Being frontman for Queen for worldwide tours three years in a row? In front of tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of enthusiastic fans each show? Singing those songs triumphantly? Working closely with those legends of rock? Being widely hailed as a worthy successor to Freddie Mercury? Being called a "Gift from God" and "One in a billion"? It is all a stunning, other-worldly achievement for a little red-headed, gay, theater nerd. Something that no other pop star can lay claim to. Who knows what else Adam will accomplish in his career? But regardless, this is [phenomenal.

Lots of artists don't get nominated. More don't, than do. So the Grammys don't really bother me. But I do want Adam on my TV doing promo for TOH single so I am hoping for Kimmel, ELLEN, Idol, and even Corden again! Fallon too! Dream big, i always say! But more than that, i want radio to spin the crap out of it!

I have to agree. These big festival shows lend themselves to mostly upbeat, faster songs. That's jus the atmosphere that these shows demand. The crowds are a little less focused, they tend to talk and wander, esp. when the performances are outdoors, which is what festivals are. Adam loves his moodier songs, but I think they do better when he performing in front of just his own fans. I'm sure this festival crowd loved his whole show. They seemed to. But shorter, faster and peppier works better, I think. Maybe his musical director could give him some suggestions to keep the momentum going.
Let's look on the practical side: Adam has a tour set which is well rehearsed with all technical bells and whistles... he cut out most of the "slow" stuff anyway, so what else could he do? take Chockhold and Underground out? Leave TP in? And then we would be hearing complaints that he didn't showcase his voice...or they would find something else to complain about...Given his crazy schedule he sure didn't need to spend energy and effort and $s creating a new set for this one festival. His TOHT show is perfect as it is imo! The crowd around the streamer was highly enthusiastic! They were singing along and cheering and dancing. ETA: lenka -I think it would have been awesome to keep TP/AOBTD in the set. It's badass, it's upbeat, and the musical transitions are really good. Who knows why they didn't perform it. I'm sure there was a reason. But I do hope that they keep it in the set for the US leg of the tour.
