Frontman Of The Struts. Wiki.. The Struts are an English rock band from Derby, Derbyshire. The band consists of vocalist Luke Spiller, guitarist Adam Slack, bassist Jed Elliott, and drummer Gethin Davies. Influenced by Queen, the Rolling Stones, Oasis, and The Libertines, The Struts have been described as "unabashedly over the top retro-fetishist classic rock", "glamourous and dangerous", and as "having a chance to spark a real rock revival with their hooky glam sound, which manages to pay tribute to the classics, while remaining impeccably modern". Now you do all know that's pronounced DArby, DArbyshire, don't you..? Strange English..... Not as strange as Worcester in Worcestershire! (Wooster in Woostershire). Not to mention we pronounce "shire" more like "sher". English is barmy!!

I grew up in Massachusetts, where we had Worcester (more like "Wister" than "Wooster"), Leominster ("Leminster"), and Gloucester ("Gloster"). Not to mention all the Native American names. To tie this to Adam...??? Hmm, he temporarily misspelled Worcester as Worchester in a tweet. And when he was in Puyallup during the GNT tour he said "Hello Washington"! Played that one safe, lol!

Here are my videos of "Ghost Town" and "Rumors" from the Tabernacle. Thanks for the videos Misha! Glad you got the 2 lower balcony front row center seats! You don't know how close I came to grabbing those before you did. But I had 2 friends coming with me and 3 more tickets would have put me over the 8 ticket limit. I had already upgraded once. Thought about calling TicketMaster to see if I could upgrade my upper balcony tickets, but kept thinking about it after hours.

My British mother always pronounced the sauce wus-te-sher with the 'te' just glided over, but definitely there.. wow...you can always tell a really really really slow day by the truly odd conversations lol
