I'm watching snl and whoa are they painting ariana grande in a favourable light. She is in nearly every skit. She did one where she sang impersonating Britney, Whitney, shakira and rhianna and knocked it out of the park. I don't really want to like her lol, but she's making it hard not to I am watching too -- but I still do not like her. I can't recall an snl in recent memory that had the host in so many skits

So well said, cassie. I'm with you on this. I don't think that we can, in our wildest dreams, imagine how it feels to be so loved and so public. To us, he is one, to him, we are legion. In addition, the M+G's are such a potential threat to his health, IMO. Of those 20 to 100 people, the chances are very great that one of them is infectious. Not even saying they are choosing to go to the M+G even if they are sick, but many times we are infectious before we are symptomatic. I got to disagree with you on M&Gs being a health threat.. Seems abit far-fetched to me. I mean, every day I come physically close to (and sometimes interact) with at least 70 people -- Singapore is a very, very crowded country, trains & buses are always packed like a can of sardines. And in no way do I feel like they're a health threat to me, or that I am a health threat to them. The chances of a person being sick out of 100 people, in a first-world country with good sanitary services, is very very small. And the chances of a sick person spreading it to you is not high either, unless it is an infectious airborne virus.

I know that Adam LOVES performing. He loves being a pop star. But I think it must sometimes bug the shit outa him. It must sometimes be so intrusive, invasive, objectifying, and crazy-making. Most of us love him madly and treat him with respect both in person and online. But there are those..... Can you imagine having strangers asking him about the red mark on his neck and having to say it is a zit? If that is true, it is rather rude to point it out. We knew that as teenagers, right? If it is a love mark, it sure as hell isn't a matter for public comment and speculation. Then there are the constant rumors about him being sick, or shacking up with some guy, or being rude to someone's 12 year old stalker daughter. There's folks posting info about his home, his groceries, his family, his insurance policies, his license plate number, his address, his private facebook photos. There are others who tell him not to smoke, not to do drugs, not to cut his hair, to shave off his beard, what to wear, what not to wear, what to say, what not to say. Folks intruding on his private time, trying to ambush him at a gay male stip club for goodness sake. I can imagine there are times when it is all way to much, even if he is earning $10 million a year. I was out all night and just got here. I feel for Adam, regardless if anything is going on or not. He sure has had a very full plate for a while now and feeling the constant pressure to "perform" in more ways than one must have its' challenges. As much as he likes being a pop star, I can imagine that there must be a desire to just be and live and get off the treadmill for a bit. Two more concerts and then a tiny break...but not quite.

I don't understand what is happening...
I get there are different contracts and longer 90 minutes long set and shorter 75 minutes set...
But even shorter set without Fever and especially without any encore even when it was planned?
I also think some explanation either from Adam or his people to the people who got this really short show probably would be better...
Have to say I feel little bit nervous these days everytime I go on forum after new Adam's show... I don't know why I take it that seriously since I don't have tickets to any show so it does not have any influence on me.... It's just that I like to see everyone happy and flailing about new concert and don't want people to think he is unprofessional and lazy or something... I believe there is a good explanation but they should tell fans what is happening imo. Not to give any bring too many speculation.

ThAt dictate the length. That and looks like Adams under the weather.

Yes I know about the contracts.... but the last show was even shorter and without any encore (even though it was supposed to be on the setlist from what I understood) and that is quite unusual... I thought Addam being under the weather is so far just one of the speculation... I remember when he performed the first shorter shows many people also thought he is sick until Shoshanna said he is not sick and it was the contractts with the venues...

HUH!??!?! Interesting math going on in that article. That alone makes the rest of it slightly less believable.

Don't know if he is sick or not. But, if he is, that's kinda a no win situation. It is ingrained in a performer not to show weakness or illness on stage. "The show must go on" is a mantra. Part of it is to psych yourself up to get thru the show. Part of it is to "fool" the audience. If they know there is a problem for the performer, they tend to look for signs and see/hear them whether they are there or not. They expect a sub-par performance and then find evidence to support that. If they don't know there is a problem, they usually don't see any problems. It would seem to be logical to confess to the problems at the end of the show. However, audience members who were happy with the performance sometimes then go back in their memories and find fault with it in retrospect. While you would think the audience would be sympathetic, and some are, others somehow feel they have been short-changed and even want refunds. The commonly held wisdom is not to mention any problems beforehand, or immediately following a performance. Just go out and do the very best you can and keep smiling. Only after time has passed will performers confess to their struggles .... if then. Just sayin'. Thanks Cassie. I was wondering about that. It would be just weird to have an announcement at the beginning saying so-and so is sick but they're going to come out here and give you what might be a so-so show. Probably the people griping about the length of the show and the lack of an encore would still be griping. It sounds like there were a lot of people who were happy with the show. Like I said up above, I would just be happy to know that his voice is okay! I'm looking at Adam's schedule through June and it's extremely busy. Finish the US TOH tour. Short break. Continue TOH in Europe. Short break. Then QAL through the end of June. He's a strong guy, but that's a lot, considering the kind of singing he does. I sympathize with those who are getting shorter sets, and I pray that my show is a full one. He has to pace himself. AND he has the AI performance on Thursday. And I'm sure he wants to be strong for that! It's immense exposure to millions. At least he has a few days off before then. I guess we just have to go with the flow. Remember, we're following Adam so closely, day to day, throughout his real life. A casual fan who doesn't know his every move wouldn't be angsting over every single thing that happens. He's a human being, not a machine. Many singers cancel shows, postpone performances, etc. He's doing his best to get through it all. He's got LOTS of singing to do right up through JUNE.
