Any idea how the ticket sales are going for the Helsinki show? That's a large arena, and last time I saw any sales estimates it was barely at 50%. That would be a real bummer if that show sold poorly.

ljsmack......Thanks for your recap! It was great to see you and Babs....even if briefly. I had said that the photo ops were around 60, but thought that long line that stretched all around those 100+ yr old stained glassed windows in the Ryman balcony was closer to 100 folks. I didn't see your pics in the batch from VIP1, so guess you and other winner's pics prob have different links. We had the same problem getting to the venue.......tons of rain.....tons of regular rush hour traffic....and tons of SEC basketball fans with Broadway being closed off, etc. Luckily we arrived just as check in started.....grabbed our merch and tics..and they let us on inside and we dashed up the big staircase up to the area where the photo op line had already started. At least Adam's merch was all set up and 2 kinda weird older guys were manning it. I guess the merch handlers and sellers are farmed out. I thought it would have been "better" to have more friendly and maybe younger, more hip merch sellers. Not a big deal...but in OZ seems they "presented" a more positive and youthful image. But that's just a minor thing. We grabbed our Hatch prints...then had to worry about them getting bent etc. and had to lug the VIP merch bag and stuff with that signed poster of his ALN pose and our Hatches and purse and umbrellas and raingear to the photo op. We even had smuggled in mailing tubes to put those in, but they were almost too thick/stiff to roll so we left them wedged in our VIP bags up against the signed poster's cardboard backing. Luckily nobody checked our bags entering the Ryman. These things are never simple and easy....always stressful. Finally when you've had your 10 seconds, you can take a breath.....and since we had seats, run to the bathroom......and then enter the Nirvana zone for the show and once you're in place and the lights start and that familiar music begins.....all's right with the world.

Wow! This was such a powerful encore. I really enjoyed the band intros on it too. They all seem to be having a great time up there. I wonder how many pop artists showcase their band like Adam? They must feel thrilled and a little special that Adam respects and appreciates them so much. It was a great band intro....similar to those down in OZ, one or two were actually even longer there....but I thought The Ryman intro was perfect!
