I have a veil - Interesting terminology. My first thought was middle eastern burkas. It's not a word a lot of people use other than at weddings. But it does lead to him pulling it back/off or letting us through or see through. I'm not sure why the present tense of "have" vs "had". [...] Laleh is from Iran

Listen to Adam Lambert’s New Track ‘Welcome to the Show’
It's soulful, carried by a driving synthpop sound
Adam Lambert took to Twitter in the early hours of Wednesday morning to promote the release of his new track “Welcome to the Show,” a slow but driving number that also features vocals from the Swedish-Iranian pop singer Laleh.
Lambert has been a fixture of American airwaves since his run on the eighth season of American Idol in 2009. When he released his third album, The Original High, last summer, he introduced his fans to a more mature soulful sound carried by a heavier synthpop bass. “Welcome to the Show” is in that vein. It’s sweeping and almost dreamy; Lambert’s and Laleh’s vocals balance out its slower cadence with airy vocals.

Sorry to diverge from the wonderful message of the moment but...... Some time ago there was discussion about how some of us couldn't see some posts - don't know if this was solved for others but I think i missed it. For me, it's Pi's posts (on ipad) - just empty spaces which is soooo frustrating when she is so great at bringing stuff here. Sometimes they magically pop up after some time but often not, and I can't find a trick that works. (Hi Pi.....and thank you " ) Must be something to do with my settings and any clues gratefully received. Sorry if in wrong place.....perhaps you could PM me if you have any info. Thanks. Love, love, love the new song - just what I was hoping for, for Idol;
a real 'performance' piece......Can't wait!.

Good deal on great headphones at US Amazon today. Originally $479, today only $99.99. At this price, might be last year's model, but don't know. These are "open back" headphones, designed to sound like audio is in a big open space like a concert hall. But open back headphones leak sound. I.e., people next to you can hear the music if not turned down low, so not good for the office or bus. www.amazon.com/dp/B004444O3W/ref=twister_B008LQPHDU?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1Also, WTTS is available on Amazon!

I've been listening to WTTS on repeat... And I must say, although it is a beautiful song, I don't think it has the GT factor. GT never gets boring, and well, to be very honest, I'm already getting a little bored of WTTS. I really really hope radio & pop music fans like this song though.
