That woman who showed Adam the space has a big mouth. If I were her boss I'd fire her. Or reassign her to a job that doesn't involve celebrities.

First of all, this will have no effect on Adam. He is with RCA and will stay with RCA because he fits that label. The biggest effect will be on executives and field staff -- expect more job cuts at Sony Music Entertainments -- and a couple of really big hires in the Exec suite. MY GUESS ON THE OTHER IDOLS WITH SONY: Adam, Danny, Cook, Carrie, Kelly P, Daughtry will not be effected. Kelly is on her last RCA album and will probably leave Sony when she is done unless they do something to keep her. Lee will not get a second album with Sony so no mystery there. I am not sure what will happen to Crystal -- my guess is she might get a second album with a tight budget -- rumor is she will record her next album in Nashville but Jive has not executed there option for album #2. Kris will probably go to RCA Label Group -- and might be moved to a new label. IF I WAS QUEEN OF SME -- I would move Kris and Crystal to Nashville and let them to there singer-songwriter stuff there with a country edge. BUT I DO NOT HAVE THAT POWER. The RCA/Jive Label Group is a real mess. The Columbia/Epic Label Group is also a mess. Both have too many labels, lots of duplicated functions from all the mergers that formed it. Splitting makes lots of sense. Most of the label imprints focused on similar artists -- Jive was a notable exception -- everything from teen pop to Nordic heavy metal to Rap to singer-songwriters. A real mish mash. The Jive Label Group will be broken up but the Jive Imprint will probably survive and stay with RCA Label Group and the RCA Record Group which will continue to focus on Pop-Dance-Rock-Country -- and white suburban rap. Epic will get the Rhythmic and R&B artists, and all the artists from the label connected to Reid -- like LaFace. Reid is very, very talented and it is major for Sony that they got him. And it is hard to believe that some of the X-Factor artists will not be signed to Epic since Reid is now running Epic. ETA: When I had a chance to put together entertainment for a big conference and Adam fit the bill -- but I couldn't get him -- I thought it was not a good thing. But seriously, I think Adam has done 4 private events -- and they were very short sets -- Party City was only 5 or 6 songs. So I imagine that was not that expensive. Of course, they did put him up at a 5-star Boca Resort and fly him there first class. And he was on the break between finishing FYE and starting to promote it -- so available.

Q3 why did you think it was not a good thing? Wouldn't it be a Good thing if Adam is priced very high?

She deleted the tweets. kkennedyLA Kirstin Kennedy Perhaps I shouldn't have said anything about that, since it's personal. I'll just delete those tweets. 1 hour ago

I know this should probably be in the SYTYCD thread (wherever that is, as I normally don't follow it), but this is Sasha's performance tonight.
She is just breathtaking and is soooooooo..... damn fierce. I'm posting it here because watching her dance reminds me that I have already seen her 8 times live at the GNT's and this routine kinda reminds of the wonderful tribal and Sleepwalker interludes, which I enjoyed enormously each and every time. I can remember commenting to many fans post shows that the dancers, through all 112 shows, never lost their intensity, their devotion, their professionalism. I used to love watching Sasha because she did indeed 'live' the emotion and vibe each and every time.
It's also all shades of strange to see HER standing in front of the judging panel and not Adam...lol
Mods shift this if need be - but it's so wonderful to see part of the Glamily doing so well and to know that Adam sure knows how to spot talent. ;D

I'm confused. :-/ I hope I explain this correctly 19E is the company that produces American Idol & SYTYCD in US. The management, 19M, manages former American Idol in the US and Pop Idol in UK. Adam is managed by 19M and gets recording contract with Sony/RCA. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/19_Entertainment

Catzmadam thanks for bringing this over. Sasha is really FIERCE and I love to watch her dance!
ETA: Oh! adamme I see your post above mine. Thanks for the explanation. What I don't understand is...I thought Sony and RCA are competitors so I don't see how they both can represent Adam? :-/
