I wonder if we well ever see Adam perform at the Amas again? I guess they gave Adam an opportunity to close a awards show. And some I hear say for someone so early in his career. To do that the industry lost trust in him. I don't know after seven odd years. I would like to think. The industry has moved on. But whens the last time he performed on a primetime U.S. award show? Ihr awards maybe. Amt Awards sort of. But nothing big since 09 Amas. I don't know well see what the future holds for Adam. May be Qal be big enough to do an Hbo special. I think the industry will quickly regain their "trust" if numbers match up It was really cool earlier this year that Adam performed at the Clive Davis Grammy party and that he was prominently featured in the group picture after. Oh yeah forgot that haha. That almost erases Amas. That was very prestigious for Adam. So I think.the industry are rooting for Adam. But I wouldn't change Amas for the world. It made Adam stronger. His fan base stronger. Adam wouldent be where he is today with the opportunities he has today without it.

The AMAs...I'm still not quite over it, and I'm sure the fandom will still talk about it years from now. "What if"...is just too tempting a thought, but may be we will all find "closure" once Adam has a chance to perform again Luckily, he's doing just fine anyways.

To be sure, the AMAs were pivotal in Adam's budding career. As others have said since that night, Adam just hadn't "earned" the privilege of doing something outrageous at that point. Had he been an established star already, he could have planted that kiss and the audience might have loved it and accepted it because they would have already "known" him. But he wasn't established enough. That TV audience that night, unlike many of us here, didn't "get" Adam yet. Established stars do crazy things onstage all the time and suffer no consequences. And to top it off, Adam's "antic" was homosexually charged. A lot has changed from that fateful night in 2009. It might not have caused such a ruckus if it had happened now. A hit song with gobs of sales will get Adam on awards shows. Bottom line. The networks don't care about much else. Just ratings. So if you're violent and abusive like Rihanna's ex, or if you're a loudmouth know-it-all fool like Kanye West, you'll still get on those shows and you'll still sell millions. Adam has the respect of a number oflegends in the music business. His fans adore him. He'll have his shot sometime. And maybe an award or two to boot.
