From Angelina's Facebook page. Angelina Kalahari: I couldn't speak properly afterwards...brain was fried! ???? No words really! I'm soooo happy! Still buzzing today! Star Atop: Have a fabulous time!! He just gets betterer!!! Like · Reply · 1 · 15 hrs Angelina Kalahari Angelina Kalahari He certainly does! That's what I wanted to see and wow! What a fantastic time at Adam Lambert 's London show last night! He's an incredible performer with a voice to die for! I loved that the venue was sold out, packed out and the entire audience was on their feet! Brian May, Roger Taylor and Boy George was also in the audience, and someone mentioned that Sam Smith was there, too, but I didn't see him. Afterwards, I had a wonderful time meeting and catching up with so many lovely Adam fans. Feeling elated today and a little sad that it's over..for me for now, at least. For everyone else who's going to his next shows, have enormous fun! My only complaint about last night was that it was over too soon! Now, all we have to do is convince her to write a blog about the experience and his voice in detail. From her comments on Facebook, it seems she was thrilled enough with the show to want to talk about it more. Crossing my fingers and toes. I hope to Skype with her soon....... hmmmmm. Wonder if one can record a Skype call? Wonder if she would be willing to let me "interview" her. It's a thought. You will need a 3rd party software, there are some free ones. Recording the audio is easy. Not sure about the video.

Regarding the author's one negative comment about wanting more audience interaction in the first part of the show.... Adam has designed and produced a tightly connected, theatrical show. In one recent interview he explained that while he considered opening with WTTS, he realized the tempo wasn't the best to start things off. He wanted something more upbeat. That comment is an indication of how much thought he put in to every component of the show. He wants it to be varied, but with high energy throughout. And it definitely is. Sadly, it meant that TISI had to be deleted, as he probably thought it brought the energy down too much in tandem with Mad World. But, the current show flows from song to song and theme to theme so smoothly. If he stopped the momentum in its tracks to chat up the audience it would be counter-productive to his main aim. It is challenging enough to present the first section with its dark sound and vibe while driving the show forward with full audience engagement. I think that sacrificing the chat in service of the overall energy is the right move. Like someone else said, it is akin to stopping the action in the middle of a play to chat with the audience. Throws the audience right out of the arc of the show. IMHO

I think those M&G pics above are from Amsterdam, not London...judging from the blue leather outfit. I think GlamDianne just mislabeled them.

Thanks to so many of you who responded on why they thought this show was so flaily by actual attendees. I still don't feel like he's broken into the UK until he gets a hit on the radio, but this is definitely a good start. I noticed that Daughtry is playing at this same venue in May. I wonder if his show will sell out. I didn't think he had broken in the UK either but I don't follow him at all. Daughtry is playing in the same venue?? Since when is he an international artist? Surprised.

Great review, but the reviewer made a mistake when he said, "The only real criticism I can level at the show is that the audience interaction, at least for the first half, was fairly minimal. The customary three songs and ‘Hello London’ never happened and it wasn’t until nearly halfway through the set that Adam interacted with the audience." Adam addresses the crowd towards the end of the very first song EITN when he says, "Whattup London" or something along those lines, but I can see how easy that might have been to forget with the all the visual and aural stimuli that he had to process. Audience interaction is important, I think. And for future concerts Adam may want to figure out a way to connect a bit more on that level. It doesn't have to be that deep and he doesn't have to preach either. There was a guy not far from me at one of the LA concerts and we chatted a bit prior to the show...When I asked him later how he liked the concert he told me how much he liked it when Adam finally talked to us.
