ht tps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3caCQgpTqrc I love the spontaneous cry of "ohhhh" from some guy in the audience at 1:30 after he hits that note I think that is Adam who says "ohhhh" right after he turns around. Good morning! I just listened again and it can't be Adam because he is still singing when I hear that 'ohhh'. Definitely some guy having an eargasm!

Based on my son's experience in a touring band, starting late is very rarely because of the artist/band. peace&love We seem to always be kidding about Adam and his punctuality or lack thereof. Obviously I was running with that theme. What have been your son's experiences in the timing issues? Do you know....if the venue causes an artist to be late ....is the artist expected to change his show to accommodate a city ordinance? Just got back on Atop and saw your question. First, my son's band is indie, so plays smaller venues and only has a small amount of crew that travels with the band. At Adam's level things may be very different. The main reason my son goes on late is that the venue wants to sell as much alcohol and food as it can. After the opener plays the band has a rough idea of when they'll go on, but often needs to wait for the house to signal them that the lines for food and drink are short enough, and now they can go on. Expectations make people think artists or bands are late at times. For example, a show that says show at 8, doors at 7 may make people think the opener will start at 8, play 45 minutes, and then 30 minutes later the headliner will start at 9:15, and the show will end 10:45 or 11. When I ask my son in advance what the schedule for the night will be, he might say opener plays 8:30-9:15, breakdown opener's instruments til 9:30, then 30 or more minutes for headliner to complete their set up and do various backstage checks. Headliner, in this example is ready at 10 to wait for the ok from the venue. Even if they go on at 10, that means the show ends at 11:30-11:45. For the audience everything looks as if it is 45 minutes late. I'm not sure about the change the show to fit the curfew situation, but where there are curfews there is often a dance between the artists and the venue to maximize food and drink sales, yet end in the nick of time. Larger venues are more likely to have earlier curfews in my experience. I think because the sound is louder and carries further, and thus is more of a community issue. Thus, Adam likely runs into this more often than my son's band. Festivals have to stay on track to present so many acts, so timing is much more exact. Off topic side story - Sometimes having no curfew is great. One time my son's band kept getting requests and cheers and questions from the audience in a venue in Spain. It was all so much fun they ran with it and wound up playing for five hours! It's a legendary show now. peace&love

Oh thanks. BTW there is a typo in Priscilla Presley's name. Also, there is a bit of a connection with Keith Urban through AI for the country link. Thanks, fixed! Well, Adam replaced Keith at the judges table once, but did not have much interaction with him except probably for the standing-O he got during WTTS, so it is a rather marginal link. Notice that I haven't even included Simon Cowell, as then I would have to link Adam through him not only to One Direction but also to a huge amount of other people that went through Idol and X-Factor. And then I would run out of space I tried to include mainly the following categories: *People who have complimented Adam in the media (e.g. Meat Loaf, Randy Bachman) *Artists whose songs Adam has covered. *Artists that Adam has collaborated with, or received songs from. *Friends and acquaintances who happen to also have famous friends or relatives (e.g Kelly Osbourne, Nancy Sinatra, Ferras) *People who have worked with Adam and with other famous artists (e.g. band members and dancers) Of course, some of these connections are more solid than others. I am really not running out of space on the Country chart, but I will have to convince myself that Keith belongs on that list... I will probably add him. Yup, I knew the connection was tenuous -- though they were involved at AI over a few years every time Adam came back. I think Keith said Adam was a great mentor at one of those shows. I just thought country looked so empty! lol And then there's rap! The only thing I can think of is Adam, Paula and Snoop Dog at the AMAs nomination. Also, Adam participated in a music panel discussing the state of current music and I'm pretty sure there was a rapper there -- can't remember who though. Anyhow, I love your constellations! I was just thinking Adam is so versatile, he could have acting constellation too. And maybe a fashion one some day!

Keith was at the 2009 Idol finals, played with Kris and later had Kris open for him on tour. Saw vids of Urban backstage a week or so ago when down the rabbit hole.

I am still mystified by the ability of singers to remember words/and instrument players the correct notes...and to play for that long, well Holy Moly. It is hard to even compute how many songs that would have been. Your son and band mates must have been drenched in sweat...like running a marathon! Imagine the poor fingers of the guitar players, and the drummer cramping up arms and legs comes to mind. They were either totally wired after that or collapsing with a beer in hand. And thanks for taking the time to explain the nuances of the unpredictability of how the venues organize themselves OR NOT! l

I do remember that he impressed me on that panel. Plus I liked his name -- I'm assuming the Cha comes from the cha-ching of a cash register.
