I hope DMG / WBR hired him bodyguards. I have no worries. I'm sure neither the label nor his management are jeopardizing Adam's safety. The US and its' outdated gun laws is more scary to me at times. Plus, I'm sure Russia, no matter what they think of LGBT rights, wants to avoid the PR nightmare of an international pop star being harmed on their soil. I'm sure they'll take measures too. On a completely different note, I'm catching up with the Manchester videos (Adam's VOICE, I mean, seriously, geeeeezus), and I just watched WWFM & it always reminds me of the first one in Wilkes Barre - the audience that started the cheer-at-"Thanks for loving me"-lyric tradition. I SO love that moment because it's like the collective audience having the opportunity to, through that cheerful affirmation, tell Adam that we love him. It's such an amazing moment & one that, at Wilkes Barre, he wasn't expecting & you can tell it surprised him & touched him... The lyric starts around 1:50 here: youtu.be/xh5CFLfjzXc

I am so glad Adam Ross is the guitar player...he is REALLY good!! I hope he got to meet Brian May. Adam's profile besides "professional guitarist", also includes "amateur astrophysicist". Lol.. I brought that up before and someone said there's differences between Astrophysicist and Astrophysics. Brian May has a Phd in Astrophysics. I googled them and Astrophysics is categorize under Physics or it's a branch of Physics, While astrophysicist's more into astronomy. There's nothing difference between both term in Undergraduate level. . But hey, I'm still hoping he gets to meet Brian just because they both more than just good guitar players.

I'm not one of the mother-hens who's worried about anything Adam. I said so many times he is a grown up. He has his own management and top notch lawyers. I have my own real life things to worry about.

Oh guys, please don't worry. Moscow is a fabulous, colorful, friendly city. I went there, totally without any knowledge of any kind, to see QAL, in 2012. It was the best introduction. I had no reason to fear anything. I know the political climate is somehow different now - yet it's still the same people in charge. People on the streets; people in the stores; in the restaurants, on the sidewalks, in the subway - are still the same. They are beautiful! My DH and I couldn't get over the beauty of the Russian people! Wish I could have stayed longer. The city is colorful; the music and the art and the parks and the monuments - like St. Basil's Cathedral, pictured in the 'poster' - are stellar! Went to St.Basil's one day; very few people were there. We entered a little chamber with about 4 other people. They milled around, and then began singing - a baroque quartet! The most etherial sounds I've ever heard happened there. And, we were the exclusive audience. It was music and joy of music presented only for beauty; the universal sound of the soul. Russia is a treasure. We should not be afraid. We need to be greater than fear. Just like Adam, who is there now.

I can't stop watching Adam's Manchester "Fever" performance. It really has it all - incredible notes, esprit de corps with Holly and Terrance, some special extra- exuberant Adam dancing, and Adam cracking up at himself after his pirrouette. I think the audience almost can't believe what they're hearing/seeing, they sound so into the moment and appreciative. I don't worry about Adam in Russia - any more than I worry now about anyone and everyone anywhere and everywhere these days - so much violence, home and abroad, organized and random - crazy. :( But I have wondered, though, and would like to hear an interviewer ask Adam sometime, if/how it is different for him to sing and perform for audiences whose LGBT members live under government-sanctioned threat and oppression. I wonder if it makes those shows feel more, I don't know, serious or something, for him . . . Whatever the "talk" section of the playlist consists of tomorrow, or even if he skips that part altogether, I think Adam just being himself, performing the way he does, is a statement, a testament, and an inspiration. ILHSFM .

This venue kinda reminds me of OAL in Leeds last year. Standing GA down front and a wide balcony. Everybody is looking down except for the standing folks.

I'm not in denial about the political climate, but sometimes it's the complete unknown that makes us afraid.
