But part of Adam's notoriety, don't yell at me, is his fashion, as well as his talent and personality. People are interested. Totally cool, Aspen! I do understand people are interested. I only wondered if this was common for celebrities and by the responses I received, I see that it is. I have little experience with fandom, so I was merely curious.

Jazzrocks, You may 'recreate' your hair with my blessing any ol' time! I had no idea the speculation for David Cook's release numbers are so low. I like David a lot. But I think it goes to show that you cannot wait forever and a day in between albums. As fast-paced as our society is with this virtual/digital age, attention spans are often non-existent in the consumer world..IMHO...only my gut feeling based on no actual facts. Aren't I such a contributor here... I do believe Adam and Cook are apples and oranges. Adam has maintained a viable presence around the world. David has said he prefers to stay home. Adam is a buzz magnet and even tho he is a perfectionist, I choose to believe that he wants this album out this year as much as anyone. (Because I will GO NUTS if he waits any longer..) Truth. ETA: I am SO glad I previewed this PM. I'm havin' my own party today cause I had a couple of typos that were, er, troublesome..hehe ;D Also, from when Cook's first album came out, to now, the whole radio and music scene is 100% different. In 2008, David's type of rocker was still getting lots of radio play and selling well. He was, in a sense, riding the Daughtry popularity wave. Now, most of the radio has become mostly Pop and Urban. I think FYE, the album, was ahead of the curve. Adam got his pop songs on there and so he has made a good step into the pop market. His Grammy nom can't hurt. The fact that IIHY got played is, IMO, a very good sign. It means that radio didn't just like the song, WWFM, they liked Adam Lambert, the artist. As opposed to Kris, who had a great first single. Which, IMO, is why it got played so much and did so well. It was a good song (not to me, but I can see the appeal.) Then his #2 and #3 singles did absolutely nothing. This tells me that radio wasn't willing to give those 2 follow-up songs spins (because it was Kris) to see if they caught on, as they were with Adam and IIHY. I am a Cook fan (not obsessed, as I am with Adam.) It still is killing me to see his single going nowhere. A week and a half until his album drops. He has to be very nervous. I have listened to the Walmart soundcheck of Cook's songs several times. The question that keeps coming to mind is, "Who is singing to? What is his target audience?" Months ago there was a podcast or something where these hit producers talked about how they wrote commercial hit songs. In this podcast they were trying to write songs that appealed to a target audience of 13 year olds. They talked about lyrics and music that would appeal to the audience that they were trying to target. I guess it could be the difference between being commercial and being artistic. Does the artist want to sell a lot of music or do they just want to make music that they feel is good regardless of whether or not it has any commerical appeal. David's music is good, but is it commercial? If he wanted it to be good and commercial, then who is the target audience? To tie this back to Adam, will Adam #2 be commercial, artistic or both. I am hoping for both.

adamlambert @sutanamrull: u hot diva! amazing video! @tommyjoeratliff: get it!! @austin_young: stunning work! t.co/O6vAfhV 7 minutes ago via Twitter for iPhone Adam is fearless.. Sutan is beautiful and the video ,a bit much for my taste.. LOL Hahaha well I liked it for the creative, sexy, lusty side of Sutan/Raja So from that standpoint: OH YEAH... breathy, HOT, Sexy... Oh my!!! Sutan/Raja is one hot Mofo in his own right. The quality of the video is very clear and the very interesting. Tommy fits right into the lust and feel of this video - cute/fun when his lipstick got all smeared. For something different: Glad Adam re-tweeted - he has such outside the box and interesting friends ETA: Deleted the above post because I was having web site issues. Yes, it is hanging up for me too or timing out on some occasions. ETA 2 vivlite Said: When I saw the first shot of Sutan, I was stunned. That was one of the most effective aspects of the video to me. Female/Male. The contrast was fascinating. How his male, female identities were popped in and out of this vid gave me goosebumps. That is what I was thinking. And the costumes. Didn't really even notice the song becasue the visuals were moving so fast and OTT to what I am use to.

Am I the only one who keeps getting booted off? I haven't been able to post. I shut down my puter and ran a virus check. Now let's see if this works.

Am I the only one who keeps getting booted off? I tried to refresh the page and got a message saying I couldn't be connected. I tried a couple of more times to get on but couldn't. But fortunately it seems to be working now.
