I agree with those saying that reviewer seemed to be reviewing what he thought Adam should be doing versus what he is doing... great voice, but not straining enough? I wish singers didn't need to sound like they're busting a gut for people to "believe" they're really feeling what they're singing. Average age of crowd 30 (gasp!!). Great lighting and sound and production, but too what, sterile? Whatever... That was a funny comment about WWFM, too, because although I listened to Pink's recorded version only once, isn't it sung to exactly the same instrumental track that Adam's is? But yeah, each to his own, I guess.

That was a funny comment about WWFM, too, because although I listened to Pink's recorded version only once, isn't it sung to exactly the same instrumental track that Adam's is? But yeah, each to his own, I guess. Reminds me of dialogue from a movie I once saw. One character was a strongman in the carnival. The audience wasn't impressed. The manager pulled him aside and told him he was making the weightlifting look too easy. He needed to add some grunts and groans, bobble the bar and stagger a little during the lift, and then, with "great effort" finally get it above his head before dropping it resoundingly. He changed his "performance" and was a big hit from there on. I find it thrilling and awe-inspiring when I watch/hear a flawless performance that appears effortless. Perhaps with singers, it is because I know how much effort, time, energy, relentless drill and practice, dedication, and obsession it takes to produce such an "effortless" sound. How extraordinary it is.

Speaking of "effortless" sound, that little tossed off ditty for "Bicycle" at the Denmark show was divine in its angelic, floating purity. The above YT did not capture the first half of the tune. I went back and listened again to the recorded stream. THAT is what Adam does better than any other tenor I have ever heard. Hope we get another YT that is complete.

Might need to convert this location into a new Adamtopia Acres for membership rest and rehabilitation after Europe leg of TOHT. We haven't even seen what he is going to do with QAL yet.

I REALLY understand you very much, cause I feel the same way... lol! my feelings are very "mature" and well defined: (my apologies for this valuable contribution to the discussion...the 5 year old in me just couldn't help...) Sadly when it comes to Adam I'm always 5 ????
