I struggle a bit to relate to his way of clowning around, via the Snapchat stuff that he keeps posting, but maybe it's just me. Maybe it is his way of finding himself, I don't know, but I always wonder whether he feels pressure to be entertaining, and so he goofs around for our entertainment. Does he really feel it, or get something out of it? If the answer is yes, then by all means, good for him. Whether I get it or not is utterly irrelevant. But I hope he does not do this, because he feels he has to. I honestly don't think the Snapchat thing is that deep. I think Adam is goofing around for his own entertainment....a new toy or gadget to have some fun exploring.JMHO I never have felt Adam feels the need to entertain us in his free time...that's special time for him to unwind and just be himself. But that's just my opinion.

Bringing my own tweet just cause it's the easiest way to post a picture off of my phone twitter.com/Nica575/status/738219738254430208it was a great surprise to see THE Macy's add in the Carnegie Hall Playbill! Made me HAPPY! and it's right in front -on page 4- so there is no way to miss it... the only "sad" thing is that there is no name anywhere in that add.

But that's just my opinion. From what Shoshanna has said, the clown is his natural self so to me we (ie glamberts) may not be the people he's trying to be close to while he's out of town. If he's like regular folks using snapchats is his friends he's connecting too. Yes he might have them on speed dial or text but teens aren't snap chatting and the texting the snapchat to their friends, that's too much work. He likes making goofy voices, even an interview about it back in Idol days, and how else to be goofy than the fun of deciding what voice goes with what mask. However, if he does feel pressure at all on these goofy little things it's all about his statements to not take yourself too seriously, it's ok to make fun of yourself, so that if you are a kid on the outside you can all be together behind a snapchat mask because everybody looks stupid. It's harmless fun, it's promotes social interaction, it's the antithesis of activities that can get you into trouble or harming yourself, anybody can do it. So I just think it matches his life philosophy as well as his wear a costume every day kid nature.

Oh yes, so glad to see that Adam listens to such a great interview and is inspired by it. I hope he feels empowered to fly free, as free as his artistic spirit wants to fly at this point. I hope, he does not feel caged by expectations towards him as an artist, but of course, I am worried that he does. Whether that is the pressure to have that pop hit, or the pressure to just break even for his record label, or the pressure to do a certain kind of music, or whatever it may be. Butterflies are not meant to be caged, they come to look like ordinary moths in captivity. If you don't let them flutter from flower to flower, like they must, they lose what makes them unique and special. Adam has this God given talent, even though it is a different one than Prince's, but that is why they are always unique, those artists that really touch peoples hearts and lives. As compared to the many others who just produce the background noise of our times. There is a difference, a big one and Adam is still trying to figure himself out in where he belongs, imo. When Adam posts something like this video, he really speaks to me and I am hopeful again. The Prince video gives me hope, because it shows me, that lots of other stuff is also going on, he is not just doing Snapchat in his free time and partying with friends, he is also looking around for additional inspiration, and that is wonderful to see. He gives so much during his concerts and performances, he must replenish the spiritual resources inside of him. And Prince was always inspiring, in his calm and collected and meditative and contemplative way. Surely, Adam is starting to think about the direction that he would like to head into with A4. If this is where his head is and whom he looks to for inspiration, I am more than happy for him. Lol no offense. But the whole world uses snapchat. i don't think ADam uses it to find himself. I think he uses it, because he finds it fun, and it is trendy. For hecks sake my grandad who is in a resthome, and has Alsimeiz, used it. In any case I don't think using Snapchat is all that deep, I don't think it is an indicator that he does not take things seriousley. I just think he likes Snapchat, and he liked that video. I think your over thinking things imo. I think people take Adam way too seriousley imo.

But that's just my opinion. Yes, I agree- I think Adam loves being goofy- and to me that is a form of freedom- to let go of the need to look "good" or "perfect". That's a big part of why I appreciate him so much- he is incredibly gorgeous and talented, but doesn't take himself seriously all the time.

Pattihum you're so right It's not that deep LOL

My son told me this morning how excited he is for this show. We are heading to Brussels a week from today to spend precious time with my BFF and her family and of course to see QAL. I hope to meet Atopers at the show. Yes! I hope we will meet too!!
