Why would that matter. Xfactor OZ still a popular enough show. Give him some good exposure and publicity. And I don't think ti would impact his album process that much. 8 Weeks at tops, then he can work on his album, this would give him some publciity for his album too. Either way I don't think it matters. But I Think its good he is at least involved in the buzz. Has adam mentioned the next album? Idts. Just fans. All this hinting that shosh had been doing about "that's not how things are done anymore" sounds, to me anyway, that he isn't going the traditional route. Let's see what's up with the dance collabs he mentioned. Maybe more one-off singles. I'm not holding my breath for an album in the near future

I tend to agree with the radio show that they guessed it. Found the full podcast at www.kiis1065.com.au/shows/kyle-jackie-o/ (click on the 20/06/2016 podcast and go to the end at 1:44) So they were talking with Guy who is a returning judge, they just announced him yesterday but it seems he's known for a long time per other news I've found. There are extra clues in the full podcast other than sing his arse off and non-australian. They talked him into declaring man or woman (man so no Kelly C) and they guess Olly Murs. Guy ruled out Olly Murs and then added this new guy was not from the same place as Olly. Since Olly and the Liam that has been mentioned are both English then I'd say that rules out the Liam guy too. Guy wouldn't rule out Adam but he easily ruled out Olly and I think that's why the radio station is convinced they guessed right.

So he won't be bored at the end of June?!? But...didn't he already remodel his backyard back home? (silly, I know...) - I know, exposure...but not sure how massive the market impact in Australia would be. Well seeing Ronan Keating who was a judge is now on The Voice Oz I guess they need someone but would be totally happy to to have him anywhere douche Kyle Sandilands because there is no way I'm watching that show while he's on it Adam or not...

I want him to be a judge because it will expand his brand in the public eye. We know he is much more than a one trick pony, but most people don't know how clever, funny and charming a personality he is when not singing. He has established himself as one of the best singers of this generation to people in the industry. But there are still a surprising number of folks out there who don't know who he is. Regular exposure on a national TV show week to week would be huge, even if it is not in the US. TV producers in the US would also see him if he got good reviews, and realize he would make great TV here in the States as well. Or at least that is my hope. Worked for Keith Urban who leveraged his season on The Voice here into a gig on AI.

Yeah KU levaraged Voice Au, onto idol. I think same could happen for Adam. He just needs regular exposure. Who knows if this is even a real possiblity. But hey theirs buzz so well see. We get Xfactor Oz every year over here in nz. Adams very popular in NZ, so I am sure he would give good numbers.

...and then OZ poo-pooed TOH the single for the rest of the world... can you imagine if someone "popular" would've released a brilliant song like that? ;-| Ok standing up for the oz contingent here. TOH release was weird and weirdly timed so not sure it had a chance, but also the whole brilliant song bit - while I understand many love it, it certainly wasn't my cup of tea (coffee or anything else) - so as always brilliant is in the eye of the beholder. #justsayin Oz does pretty well by Adam. His concerts pretty reliably sell out and in venues that other artists more popular in US sometimes struggle to fill. So I think he'd be a popular choice. But I repeat if he has to share the deckw ith douch Kyle Sandilands I won't be watching.
