Dang! It has been so hot and dry here this week I hate to go outside! And QAL keep getting a somewhat cold *&%$#* rain! Hope they don't get that storm that might go through there tonight! Is this time of year the rainy season for Europe? Those big thunderstorms and big showers we have had in the last couple of weeks all over Northern Europe are NOT normal weather for this season. Normally this season in Europe should be the nice summer anticipation weather with not to warm temperatures, but sunny with a little shower once every now and then. The amount of rain we get during this season seems to be increasing though. At least for the Netherlands. They have been very unlucky though I think because thunderstorms are always unpredictable. The weather does seem to be more unstable lately.

adamrocks - this kind of weather is very unusual for May/ June in Central Europe. It is way too cold and there are too many thunderstorms. I read on some weather-sites that this unstable weather has already been predicted in March due to unusual weather conditions and the climate change. Here we call it already the year without summer

Yesterday an Israeli TV presenter (Assi Azar) tweeted that we can send our Adam Lambert questions to him, because he'll be interviewing him tomorrow. He still hasn't said when and where this interview is going to be aired (yes, I asked), but I decided I like him, based on this twitter convo I just saw:
zion nanous: The commercial to Queen and Adam Lambert makes me sad. If Mick Jagger were to pass away, would The Stones perform with an X-Factor winner? Assi Azar: A. He didn't win B. He's an excellent singer. What's his being in a talent show got to do with anything??
And on another note - anyone knows if there's a stream for the shows before QAL? In about 2 hours an Israeli singer is going to perform, and I'm curious to see what it would be like. Her name is Ninet, and she's like the Israeli Kelly Clarkson in that she was the winner of the first season of the Israeli Idol, and since then she's done extremely well. It seems like the organizers make a point of inviting Israeli artists to that Festival, because of the sensitivity.
